"Uh hang on sensei just give me a minute to open the door," Ino called. She looked over at Naruto and gave him an apologetic smile. Quickly she made a series of hand signs and cast an illusion jitsu making Naruto look like the punching bag. “Sorry about this Naruto but I don’t think you want to have to explain why you’re tied to a punching bag either. Just keep quiet and I’ll try to get rid of her as soon as possible”
Ino opened the door to see the cute jounin instructor Kurenai standing in front of her.
“Sensei what are you doing here?” Ino asked.
Kurenai gave Ino a polite smile. “The Hokage asked me to do a quick patrol of the village. When I was checking the academy I heard noises coming from the gym.” She said.
“Oh…that was me I’m afraid. I came over her to practice my taijitsu and develop my skills.” Ino said quickly hoping she wouldn’t suspect anything.
“You know you’re really not supposed to be here after the academy closes,” Kurenai said giving her a stern look.
“Yeah I’m sorry. It’s just so hard to find a quiet place to practice and work off all my stress. I didn’t think anyone would mind but you can punish me if you want too,” Ino apologized.
Kurenai broke into a smile. “That’s ok I think I can let it slide since you’re putting so much effort into becoming a better ninja. Actually I wish my team would put as much effort into training as you are.”
Ino smiled at the compliment.
“What moves were you practicing?” Kurenai asked.
“Just a couple of kicks,” Ino said. “Building up my ninja footwork.”
Ino glanced at the punching bag and winked.
“How long have you been going at it?” Kurenai asked.
“A couple of hours, I was planning on kicking this bag till it begged me to stop,” Ino laughed at her inside joke.
Kurenai was impressed with the young ninja’s enthusiasm. She wanted Ino to be able to develop her skills.
Kurenai thought for a while before she finally spoke.
