After some more talking Genda left to find the others while Genta sorted through what Genda had told him.
“That would mean if I wanted to let the world forget about Conan I should also alter the memories about Shinichi Kudo in that process. Or do so even if not. The others that know are no problem, they will forget the connections between Shinichi and Conan.”
With his mind set he walked into his basement to set up the mc-device for a new change. He typed in that Shinichi Kudo died that day and did the same for Shiho Miyano (as Genda had told him was Ai's original name). With nobody in the house for now, everyone, including Genda this time, would believe this. The only problem was what to do about Conans past. If Genda believed Shinichi was killed and he had no connection to him, what would be his memories for the time before he shrunk? Maybe Genta should change some memories of Genda first to be safe. But he would think about it for a couple of days, maybe Genda would profit from the memories later. So he switched the mc-device off again, but it saved the changes he wanted to make. He would not have to program them anew.
