Lisa decided to hide the book away in her desk then she skipped downstairs into the kitchen where Marge was already making breakfast and both Homer and Bart where munching on bowls of cereal. They didn't pay much attention to Lisa as Homer was too busy eating and Bart had his back to her but as Marge turned to Lisa to ask her if she slept well she gasped and froze on shock.
"LISA! What happened to you? You’re taller than Bart!" Marge exclaimed causing both Bart and Homer to drop their spoons and Bart to spit his breakfast out. Bart just looked at Lisa who put her hands behind her back and twisted her heel before shouting: "NO WAY! Mom! Lisa's taller than me!" as if Lisa was actually doing something as opposed to something about her.
"I..I..Bart finish your breakfast!" Marge said almost instinctively, not really being able to think of anything else to say as she was so surprised at her daughters sudden "growth spurt". Bart goes back to eating his breakfast muttering to himself clearly not happy. Homer just shrugs his shoulders and resumes hoovering his cereal into his mouth.
Lisa decided to speak up at this point. "Well mom, I guess I had a growth spurt.." she said nervously while Bart said "bullspit" under his breath but loud enough so that Marge heard it. Lisa just laughed nervously knowing that Bart who had seen her previously upstairs realised that she couldn't have grown overnight as he had just seen her today at her normal height. Too bad the book doesn't change reality thought Lisa. Well maybe it can but you have to actually specify that it changes she realised. Marge meanwhile put her hand on Lisa's shoulder and asked if she was okay. Lisa nodded and said she didn't feel sick or ill so Marge just gave Lisa her breakfast and decided to send her too school with Bart.
Lisa was relieved that Marge didn't make more of a fuss or take her to see the doctor. Not that the doctor could tell Marge how Lisa grew but maybe just that it wasn't natural and that would only worry her. The bus ride to school was fairly uneventfully although some of the kids laughed or made jokes about Lisa being taller than usual.
