A Friend

Ted, who has been your best friend since elementary school, walks down the street and waves to you. He stops and squints in confusion, then continues to approach the both of you.

“Oh God, it’s Ted. What are we going to do?” asks Sarah frantically as she tries to hide behind you.

Ted looks over your mismatched body and jokingly says “Hey, Mark? There’s something different about you… New haircut?” He begins laughing.

“This isn’t funny, Ted! Somehow Sarah and I swapped heads and we don’t know how to switch back!” you say as you point to your new body.

Ted stifles his laughter. “OK guys. First of all, we need to get you off the street. You look like a couple of freaks…”

The three of you continue to Sarah’s house.
