"Hey, maybe I could enjoy this a little more if I had a real body," You say, looking down at the statue body you are currently attached to.
"Hey, it's your party!" Eddie says as he removes your head from the statue and walks over to Jan. He picked Jan's head off of your body and quickly replaced it with yours before your body had a chance to fall to the ground.
You stretch your limbs, thankful to be able to move again. "Ah, that's better."
"Hey, how about reattaching me to my body!" Jan said from Eddie's arms.
"Aww, but you look so cute like that!" Eddie said, smiling down at Jan.
"Maybe later," She replied, "It's been a little while since I've been attached to it, where is it, anyways?"
"I think I had it last, it should still be over there." You point to where you stood before Eddie switched your head to the statue. Eddie carries Jan's head over in that direction.
"Speaking of disembodied heads that want to have their bodies back..." Sarah said with an impatient tone.
"Oops, sorry!" You say as you scoop her head up off of the table. You carry her back to the rolling chair only to find that her body is gone!
"WHAT, WHERE THE %^&* IS MY BODY?!?!" Sarah screamed at the top her lungs, wherever they may be.
Hearing the commotion, Eddie and the newly recapitated Jan run into the room, "What's going on?" Eddie asks.
"Her body is gone. It must have gotten up and walked away while we were distracted." You said.
"But that doesn't make any sense, if a body doesn't have a head on it, it's always just gone limp." Jan said.
"It did have a cake on it, though." Eddie added.
"But how can a cake control a body?" Jan asks.
"Well, yesterday we wouldn't believe that heads are detachable and that you can stick them on different bodies. I guess a cake controlling a body that it's put on top of doesn't sound that absurd, all things considered." You suggest.
"Okay, well, while you guys are standing here discussing cake, my body is out there somewhere, wearing that...costume..."Sarah cried.
"It might still be in the house, we should all split up and look around real quick." Eddie said.
"Yeah, good call." You say as you put Sarah's head back on the table.
You take the basement, Jan checks the floor you are currently on, and Eddie goes upstairs.
