Usually I put the events of a movie as having taken place in between the two episodes that aired right before and after, but seeing as the Victini movie aired right smack in the middle of the Nimbasa Town tournament, I can't do that for obvious reasons, so I'll put the movie after the Archeops episode.
Ash, Iris, Cilan, Pikachu, and Axew were in a forest, one day away from where they would eventually meet Luke and his Zorua. It was currently night time. Iris was asleep on a tree branch, with Axew sleeping in her hair, Cilan was sleeping in his sleeping bag, and Ash was awake in his sleeping bag, looking at the stars, with Pikachu sleeping on his stomach.
"I miss them." Ash said to himself with a sigh. "Brock is working on being a Pokemon Doctor, Max is studying under his father, and Tracey is enjoying working for Professor Oak, but I wish my female friends could still be with us. Misty is only stuck at her and her sisters' Gym since her sisters are so irresponsible, May is currently doing some contests, and Unova has no contests, and last I heard, Dawn was designing fashion clothes for Pokemon. I just wish they would be back, and that we could travel together forever..." Ash said as he fell asleep. Unknown to Ash, however, his wish had been heard.

The Millennium Comet had been hit by a meteor, and knocked off course, returning to the view of the Pokemon World. Jirachi had been checking on his friends while the comet was there, and heard Ash's wish.
'Ash has saved this world several times, he deserves some help with this.' Jirachi thought, before sending out a telepathic message to some other Legendaries who he believed could help. Before long, the Mew from the first movie, the Manaphy that saw May as his mother, as well as Azelf, Uxie, and Mespirit, were in a telepathic conversation with Jirachi, who had explained the situation.
'Ash has saved the world several times, and went on to save Mewtwo from Giovanni.' Mew thought to the others, remember the help Ash brought to her son (the Mew from that movie seemed like a girl, and in the games, it says that Mew gave birth to Mewtwo).
'I want Dada and Mama to be together again.' Manaphy thought.
'Poor Ash... always having to part way with his friends.' Mespirit said, getting very emotional.
'We have to help him out.' Azelf said determinately, wishing to help out his chosen one. With them all in agreement, they set to work. Azelf, Mespirit, and Uxie created three sets of Red Chains, Mew created some jewels with her psychic powers, one red, one blue, and one pink, and unknown to Jirachi, made them able to teleport off of the girls and able to appear near other girls an hour after the change is permanent, which would take exactly 24 hours. The Red Chains and jewels were put together to make three necklaces. Manaphy used his heart based powers to make the necklaces connected to Ash's heart, so that the wearers would desire to serve Ash upon putting them on, wouldn't want to take them off until it was permanent, and that they would be able to track Ash down, no matter where he was, or how far away from him the wearers were. They also made it so only girls can be affected. The Millennium Comet was almost out of distance for Jirachi to communicate with the others.
'I wish you luck!' Jirachi thought, before the psychic link was cut off. Mew then proceeded to teleport the necklaces to Misty, May, and Dawn. Misty would get the one with the blue jewel since she loves the water, May the one with the red jewel because of her fondness for the color red (she had changed back into her original outfit not long after leaving Ash's group in Sinnoh), and Dawn got the pink one do to how girly she is.

Misty was sitting bored at the Cerulean Gym, waiting for challengers, and wishing her sisters were more responsible so that she could return to Ash and not worry about the Gym's reputation being ruined again. Unknown to Misty, Jirachi heard that thought before the comet was out of range, and told Mew about it. Suddenly, the necklace mentioned before appeared in Misty's hands.
"Huh? That's odd." She said, before feeling an overwhelming desire to wear the necklace. She put it on, and her green eyes became glazed over, the pupils vanishing altogether, as a single sentence repeatedly went through her head, drowning out all other coherent thought. 'Must find and serve Ash. Must find and serve Ash.' She thought repeatedly, her body going on autopilot as she stood up and went to get some Pokemon to take with her to go find Ash. She took Staryu, Corsola, Poliwhirl, Psyduck, and Gyarados's Poke Balls and put them in her bag. She picked up Azurill to carry it like she normally does. She heads out of her room and towards the door to leave, when her sisters show up.
"Misty, where are you going?" Daisy asked. None of them saw how Misty's eyes were glazed over since the necklaces were made so that only girls who were affected, and Ash, when he finds out about it, would be able to notice it.
"I'm going to find Ash to travel with him again." Misty said in a monotone voice.
"What about the Gym?" Violet asks.
"It's your Gym, why don't you take some responsibility for it?" Misty said in an angry tone. "In fact, why don't you take any responsibility for your actions for once in your lives!?"
"Now come on, Misty, that's not fair." Lily replied, about to poorly try to defend their actions, but suddenly, their eyes glazed over, just like Misty's. Mew had decided that these three were causing too much trouble, and after having a memory of Mewtwo brainwashing a Nurse Joy, did the same to Misty's sisters, causing them to do just what Misty told them. They moved out of Misty's way as she ran out. She was stopped by Georgio.
"Hey Misty, let's have another battle, and if I beat you, you'll agree to go on a date with me!" Georgio challenged her, once again trying to get a date from her.
"My sisters are taking over the Gym again, so I don't have to accept any challenges. Now move so I can return to the guy I love." Misty said in an annoyed tone.
"Oh come on, what does whoever it is have that I don't?" Georgio asked.
"Move, or I'll hit you with my mallet." Misty warned him, pulling said mallet out of hammer space. Georgio refused to move, believing she was bluffing, and got hit by her mallet, knocking him out of the way. Misty put away the mallet and rushed to Vermillion City in order to head out to Unova. Since the only thought going through her head was 'Must find and serve Ash,' she wasn't able to even wonder how she knew he was in Unova.

May was in a Pokemon Center, getting back her Pokemon from Nurse Joy. She had her Blaziken, Beautifly, Skitty, Blastoise (Wartortle evolved), Venusaur, and Glaceon with her. Drew was nearby, hoping to ask May for a date. The necklace sent to May appeared in her hands.
"Huh? Where did this come from?" May wondered, before, as like Misty, she felt the overwhelming desire to wear it. She put it on, and like Misty, her blue eyes glazed over, losing their pupils. 'Must find and serve Ash. Must find and serve Ash.' May thought repeatedly. She took her Poke Balls and ran out the door. She almost ran into Drew, but she stopped in time.
"May, good to see you? Want to go out with me?" Drew asked, believing that she would.
"No, now get out of my way so I can find Ash." May replied.
"Oh, come on!" Drew replied. "I thought you came to Johto, and now to Sinnoh since we've competed in the Johto Grand Festival in order to be with me!" He said, putting his hands on her shoulders.
"No, you're just my rival, and I'm thinking of taking a break from contests and l challenging Gyms." She said, because subconsciously, she knew there were no contests in Unova. "Now let go of me!"
"What? You can't be serious! You love contests!" He replied, not listening to the last part.
"I warned you." May said, before punching him in the gut, forcing him to let go and step back as he bent over a little. May then performed a spinning jump kick to his head, knocking him out. Nobody did anything to her, since she warned him, and he made unwanted advances on her. She then left to find a large body of water in order to use her Blastoise to ride to Unova.

Dawn was traveling in Johto, her team consisting of Piplup, Buneary, Pachirisu, Quilava, Mamoswine, and, Togekiss when the necklace made for her fell to the ground in front of her. She looked at it, before feeling a desire familiar to those reading this chapter. She put it on, and like the two previously mentioned girls, her blue eyes glazed over with her pupils vanishing.
'Must find and serve Ash. Must find and serve Ash.' She thought, before running towards a body of water. Kenny got in her way.
"Hey Dawn! How about a date?" He asked.
"No way, I'm heading off to find and join Ash." She replied. He then made the same mistake that Drew did with May about asking why she liked Ash, while putting his hands on her.
"Get your hands off of me, Kenny!" She demanded in an angry tone.
"Now come on Dawn." Kenny said. "You know you like me." The poor boy was in denial, Dawn got out of his grasp, slapped him, and then kicked him in the gut as she continued on. Meanwhile, Mew had been doing the same thing she did to Misty's sisters to May and Dawn's families to stop them from getting in May and Dawn's ways.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
