"Your majesty, I trust you have good news?" Duran asked as Valda looked upon the three heroes waiting in anticipation.
"I'm afraid not, in all my years in studying magic, I have never encountered anything like this before." Valda informed him, "I don't know how to fix it I'm afraid."
"No." Duran said.
"So, we can't ever go back?" Angela asked.
"Well I never said that, the mana goddess can help after all, I trust you can find her?" Valda asked.
"She should still be at the Mana Sanctuary, but we'll need the elements' help to get to her again." Duran said.
"Their powers have dwindled after the destruction of the mana tree, the goddess herself is weakened, I don't know if she CAN help." Faerie said as she got out of Duran's head.
"So it's possible we might be stuck like this?" Resiz asked.
"I don't know." Faerie said, "it's weird how a spell can erase you from existence like this, but on the off chance we can't fix this, what do you plan to do Duran?"
"Like I said, I'll have to take care of them, it's only right." Duran said, he honestly can't think of anything else, they had nowhere else to go, nobody recalls they even exist, damn that Anise.
"You're very kind." Angela smiled.
"Thank you for helping us." Reisz nodded, Duran blushed a bit, but shook it off again, he honestly shouldn't be doing this, he got along with Angela okay enough, he didn't hold her being the princess of Altena against her, they bickered every now and then, she had that affect on him, and she acted weird when she stared at him with a look, as he got to know her better Duran began having feelings for her, and the two became close. Reisz however....she was more of a sister, she fancied Hawkeye but the guy had eyes for only Jessica, even if he didn't want to admit it to even himself, Reisz had no hard feelings though, despite her feelings for her being unrequited, she helped him anyways. Luckily Belladonna removed the curse in an attempt to awaken the mana stone and unleash the Benevodons to destroy this world, but the goal was the mana sword. They thankfully put a stop to her plan, as well as the Crimson Wizard and Goremand.
"It's worth a try regardless, the sooner I can fix them the better." Duran stated.
"I wish you luck Duran, and I do apologizing for not recognizing that girl you claim to be my daughter." Valda said.
"It's not your fault your highness, it's Anise's." Duran growled at that name.
"I'm confident you'll find a solution, and if not, they seem to trust you and are loyal to you, I can see no other person taking care of them." Valda smiled.
"We fully agree your highness." Angela said smiling.
"Let's go Duran, hopefully our identities are out there somewhere." Resiz added both of them latching an arm around him with smiles, Duran sweat a bit again as the three of them left, why are they so loyal and trustworthy, is this a side effect for trying to block that spell, if so what is it suppose to actually do?
