"What do you mean she's not here?!" An angry man's voice shouted as Zidane got started, "FIND HER!" He heard the clanking of armour leave and he sighed of relief.
"Honestly Steiner." A cold voice of a woman said as he heard footsteps, Zidane gulped again as he put a finger to Garnet's mouth.
"Stay silent." Zidane said, Garnet nodded, she knew that voice and she knew they were looking for her, but she didn't want to be found, she needed to go to Lindblum to see her uncle Cid, Zidane looked out to see a woman with brown hair and a neutral expression on her face, she had one reveling purple eye with the other covered by some sort of headband, she is beautiful and deadly at the same time and she opened each door and shook her head, it won't be long before she arrives to where Zidane is.
"Talk quietly, who is that?" Zidane whispered to Garnet.
"That's Beatrix." Garnet whispered, happy to answer him, that probably revealed her if it didn't reveal her already but she didn't care at this point. Zidane cursed, he heard some stories about Beatrix from Alaxandria, stories about her ferocity is legendary, he doesn't stand a chance if she catches him, maybe he should leave? Beatrix was arriving closer and closer, and Zidane is running out of time.
"Alright, you'll come with me." Zidane whispered, Garnet nodded as he considered his options, having her dress and run for it is always an option, maybe he'll get lucky and something will distract her, but there's no way in hell he'll be able to sweet talk her, but of course he didn't know his alpha aura can absolutely get her to do what he wanted. Beatrix got even closer and she's about to arrive near his hiding spot, she's not stupid, once she sees the door is locked she'll break it open to check inside, hiding here is not an option, it's either flee, distract or get lucky.
