Ranma was wandering through town one day, when he happened upon a bookshop. Perusing through the store, he noticed an aura around a book. Not wanting some poor sap to misuse it, he quickly bought it and found a secluded place that would buy him some privacy before reading it.
The book had a few techniques not solely based in martial arts, but could be applied by the right person. Ranma noticed the technique required a strong aura, and he could think of a few people who would definitely misuse it. Though, to be fair, it sounded ridiculous to the normal person. Ranma had a lifetime of proof otherwise, so he had no reason to doubt this technique would work, but who to use it on?
Akane!
Maybe this will resolve their problems, and maybe even help him with Akane's perspective. He didn't understand it most of the time, even when Akane was making sense, let alone when she irrationally blamed him for things that were never his fault.
So, ensuring the book was secure, Ranma made his way home. After a normal dinner affair, Ranma retreated to the roof, a signal to the others to give him some space.
From there, he waited until he knew Akane was alone in her room, before performing the technique, and part of his aura left him and entered Akane.
To her credit, Akane didn't scream, though raising her voice was a go to method of communication. Also to Akane's credit, the Possession did take several seconds to complete, a testament to Akane's own strong Aura. Eventually Ranma's Aura won, and Akane was now Ranma/Akane.
Ranma/Akane took a few moments to adjust to her new body, before climbing out onto the roof next to Ranma and sat down, "It worked. Though now what?"
"Well, maybe ya can answer some questions for me?" asked Ranma.
"Most of the answers are the same: her irrational hatred towards boys and perverts. Even when it's not for that. Also, she's bisexual," said Ranma/Akane, "It's why she wants to stay with you despite her irrational hatred. A part of her knows you're not like the other boys, and that she's probably more perverted than you are, but can't help herself. Though the year long fight against all boys because of that idiot Kuno didn't help anything. In her mind, the only exceptions to her justifications are her pops and Dr. Tofu. Hopefully with me in control now, I can start changing everyone's views on Akane slowly. High School is nearly over and if I want to go to College to inherit the Dojo, I've got to grow up."
"That makes more sense than I thought it would." mused Ranma. "I wonder if I should do the same to Nabiki, hopefully to take control of her exploitin' me."
"That sounds possible. Maybe do the same with Shampoo, and possibly Ucchan? I don't want to rob our friend of her free will, but given how much she gets sucked into our weirdness and having her distracted by fighting Akane and Shampoo... Then there's Kodaichi. She and Kuno are delusional enough to be in a mental ward that's not Nerima."
Ranma/Akane decided to be impulsive and kiss Ranma on the cheek, "Regardless, Akane does genuinely love you, and I don't think that will change just because I'm in control."
Ranma smiled, maybe with this new technique, his life can actually get better.
