Walks back to the office

Having destroyed the town and its inhabitants and discovered how much fun and how liberating it is she walked back to her office with a new confidence, a new swagger...."I am above the law, haha, the court vindicated me (before I smashed it), now I am free to do whatever I like.......". Despite Vera being very rich and could crush opposition (as she did in the end) she had at the back of her mind a niggling fear that the law of the land could go against her, but the court found in her favour (helped by her promptings). She had then trashed a whole town and nobody did anything...it helped she was the only very rich person in the region (5000sq miles and 30 million people).......she continued walking back now not really caring where she walked...there was carnage on the roads.....all the escaping people in their cars...trees down....more houses smashed......as hands on hips she savoured her new power......CRUNCH!.......though she had been stepping on things which made a noise, this stopped her short......
