Waiting around the roads, fishing for someone to breed with seemed pretty tacky, even to Starglint, and the badger warrior wasn't even sure if he'd find the other two badgers alive when he got there, so he made his way to a place he was certain there would be a sow, and one in a well maintained place, at Redwall.
The trees became more and more sparse as the badger headed east, towards the rising sun the next morning. The closer he got to civilization, the easier the pathfinding became before he saw the top of the bell tower just above the treeline. Starglint sighed in relief, keeping behind a few trees as he considered his options. He could head in now, at noon, and be able to speak with everyone, and possibly request to spend the night behind the abbey walls.
On the other paw, Starglint could wait until dark and sneak inside of the abbey and steal his way to the badgermum's chambers. Less tracing to him when they find out the mum is now a Mum.
Starglint leaned against the tree he was against as he contemplated his options.
