Her hands glowed as she held Robin’s palm. He waited patiently as he let her work her magic, as did Starfire. However, as she finished up, everyone had been pondering the obvious and Robin finally asked about it “Raven, was that really…him?”
“Yes. I know how crazy it sounds, but Lucifer, the first fallen and lord of all darkness, just saved our lives.” She spoke in her normal raspy voice, with no shock from the insaneness of the situation, because the three of them knew it was the truth. What they didn’t know of course was why it happened.
“But why? Why would the devil himself save us?” Robin asked. If the soul cause of pain and suffering on Earth and everywhere else saved you from being killed by a plan hatched by some of his followers, than you know something is wrong. No one could trust a demon, especially after everything that had just happened, but while her lovers were scratching their heads around the puzzle at hand, Starfire was the one to remember what they had overlooked.
“He never intended to save all of us. Remember? He said we only escaped by being close to ‘her’.” She said. Now, both her and Robin’s eyes fell on Raven, with the latter asking the obvious “Did he mean you?”
“That’d be my guess, but I have no idea why he would think I could stop all this.” Raven stepped over the side, growing even more unsure of herself with each spoken word. How was she supposed to fix everything? Her friends were dead, and now those two Succubi had the hungriest human on the face of the Earth at their disposal. Plus, she couldn’t forget that in another timeline she had already tried to save everyone and wound causing the apocalypse!
“Well,” Raven turned to her true loves and upon looking into their eyes, despite the fact that she knew that the three of them were all equally clueless, she was at least comforted by the fact that they’d help her figure out what ever it was she was supposed to do. Robin then pointed out “the urn is gone now. Maybe-“
Suddenly, the whole ground began to shake. People who had just walked onto the street began to fall as a massive tremor began to shake San Francisco. Raven and Starfire floated into the air to avoid that, and carried Robin up with them. “We need to get higher!” he told them. That’d keep them safe and they could see where they were needed. At once, his girlfriends flew into the air along with him, up above the towering buildings, and what they soon saw terrified them more than a quaking city.
Rising up from the bay was a massive form, more blubbery than any whale. As the water fell from the top, the fears of our heroes were confirmed as they saw that it was Barbara the Blob. A sick smile was plastered on her fat face as she continued to reveal herself to the city. Her very emergence caused giant waves to radiate from all around its round body, and soon that fast moving water hit the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges like a ton of bricks. The roads were torn away and cars fell over into the ocean. The people floated to the top, but the only thing everyone else noticed floating was Barbara, now a massive ocean liner of cellulite. She even rode the waves towards the city! Licking her lips, she said “I’m still hungry.”
People ran for their lives as the blob came right at them, tearing up the streets with her mass and weight, and that combined with the wave plowed through buildings and they fell like dominos. At last Barbara came to reside deep in the city, but by that time, Robin, Raven, and Starfire had moved to a rooftop much further away. They knew things were only going to get worse; Barbara was fifty feet wide and tall as a house, meaning there was plenty of space for her to fill with the citizens below.
Now with her giant ass firmly seated and with fresh food all around her, Barbara started breathing in deeply and a water spout began sucking in everything around her. People screamed as they swirled in the spiral of liquid before being washed down her gullet and no one was safe. Finally, Robin placed his fingers to his ear and used his FJL communicator and proclaimed “Watcher Tower, Omega Level Alert!”
In the blink of an eye, every single member of the Fat Justice League and beyond was teleported to San Francisco, no doubt stuffed with aliens. Omega Level Alerts were only saved for the biggest kinds of emergency, and everyone could agree this was easily that big. If Barbara wasn’t stopped, she could devour all life on the planet.
“Batgirl’s been turned into that blob. All she can think of is eating, and this city’s just the appetizer. We have to stop her…by any means necessary.” Robin informed the group. His final statement stunned everyone, but Robin meant every word. He had already lost so much because of what Barbara had been turned into, and he didn’t want to lose her either, but their first priority was to save the city. Wonder Woman wanted to know more about how this had happened and why the boy wonder was so distraught, but as leader of the FJL, she had to assume command of the situation.
“Lantern, Flash, J’onn, Star Girl, Starfire, you get as many people out of the city as you can. I’m afraid it’s going to take the rest of us to stop her.” She said. Truthfully, Wonder Woman was unsure if they could win this. For over a year now, she had seen how devouring criminals had done so much good for the world, but now, seeing Batgirl turned into this monstrous blob, a gross perversion of Zatanna’s initial dream left her as horrified as she was disgusted. Still, she wasn’t as troubled Robin and before everyone leaped into battle, she told them “Stop her, but don’t hurt her if you can avoid it.”
“Let me handle this.” Supergirl suddenly spoke before flying off. The nearly naked super heroine headed straight for Barbara, figuring one light tap on the head would knock the blob out. "Sorry Babs" still, she really didn't want to hurt her best friend/former girlfriend, but she knew it had to be done. Besides, beating her would not only get everyone off her back for getting a tad carried away at the party, and the faster she beat Barbara, the faster she could start screwing her. Next to Giganta, no one had been bigger than Supergirl until now, and ignoring the thousands of people in jeopardy, Barbara right now was the hottest thing Kara had ever seen.
