Neville who needed some help in Potions class.

While Hermione was studying for her potions class, Neville walked in from the library in tears. Hermione noticed it and asked him about what was wrong.

He tried to dry his tears and say ' I was trying to understand this Potion class material but I just don't seem to get it or/and I can remember all those steps in brewing it. I usually seem to blow them up or melt my pot half the time.

Hermione smiled and said ' Want me to help tutor you some more. ' Neville nodded.

Hermione motioned the seat next to her and said ' We are on Chapter 2 now in Potion 301. Let us see what you know so far.'

[Minnie smiled. She sort of liked Neville during the next 15 minutes of studying]

After a while, Hermione had trouble explaining the more complicated part of Potions to Neville even though he was truly trying to understand. She frowned. She knew that part of the problem was Snape's cutting remarks and the taunts from the Slytherins. Hermione knew how words can hurt people She hated being called a mudblood by the Sytherins. Hermione thought 'Minnie, help me help Neville in this.'

Neville tried to concentrate when Hermione tried a different tactics. Slowly but surely Neville began to understand the topic better along with some memory tricks. After almost a hour of tutoring, Neville and Hermione felt comfortable in his understanding of Potions better. Neville apologized for taking up her time. But Hermione said ' Hey, I am happy to help my friends. I am sure that you would have helped me too.' Neville smiled and nodded. He said ' well, I better go and let you study before the evening meal comes. Thanks again.' Then he left.

Hermione studying the rest of the afternoon alone until the evening meal bell rang. Then Hermione came downstairs to join her classmates for the meal. At the entrance to the Great Hall,, Draco Malfoy saw her and
