Terry just couldn't believe his luck as he walked through the main grounds of the circus. Somehow, against all the odds, he was one of the few people in town to receive a ticket that allowed access to the famous, yet mysterious, circus everyone talked about. He knew of some people that managed to gain entrance at some point but they refused to revile anything to him and would always say, "You have to see if for yourself to believe !" Now it was time to see if this place can live up to all the hype.
So far it didn't look all that different from any regular old circus; not that he found anything wrong with that mind you. In fact there was quite a fair bit of people here despite the rarity of the tickets.
He was quickly broken out of his thoughts by the trumpeting sound of an elephant. Terry smiled and made his way over to where he heard the noise. He was always a big lover of animals and would always try to go see them first whenever he went to places like these. Heck it was one of the few reasons why he would try to apply for a job at places like vets or zoos.
It take didn't him long to find the elephant section. Right off the bat he could a couple of elephants just milling about by themselves. The odd thing was that none of them with either in a pin or even tied to anything to keep them from wondering off. 'These guys must have been trained really well if no one is going to keep an eye on them', Terry thought to himself.
Not too far from the herd, he saw something that just put a big old grin on his face.
An elephant was trudging around the area with a load of a passengers on top of its' back. Of course they would have elephant rides here, why wouldn't they? Terry remembered the one time he rode one when he was about 10 years old; oh the nostalgia was coming back to him. He wanted to ride one so badly, but curiosity was getting the better of him regarding the other elephants. Something about how nonchalant everyone was really made want to get closer.
