The fair's Pie eating contest had begun. It was a small turnout, but interesting nonetheless. It was Sam vs Paulina! They both spoke to their respective best friends right before the match was about to start.
"So, you think I can really beat her at this?" Sam said to Danny.
"Sure, I've seen you with blueberry pie. You go nuts!" Danny said. "There's no way you'll lose!
"Well I do love blueberry..." Sam said, smiling. Paulina, however, was less thrilled about this.
"Why did I let you talk me into this?" Paulina said to Star.
"Come on, don't you think its about time you show that goth geek you're better?" Star said.
"Well, I love my girlish figure, but I love humiliating her more..." Paulina said evilly.
The contest then begun, and Sam and Paulina dove into their food with wild abandon. They ate each pie as quickly as they could, refusing to lose to the other. After a while, Sam decided to show off.
"Hey, bet you can't do this!" Sam said, swallowing a pie whole, tin and all!
"Oh yeah?" Paulina said, doing the same. This contest went on for a long time, and the chef was getting tired of making more pies for the super-competitive girls. As they ate, their bellies inflated like balloons, soon going beyond their laps and hanging on the floor.
"Why do I get the feeling this is gonna end badly?" Danny said, watching Sam and Paulina eat...
