"Urg, why can't I get her out of my mind!?"
Danielle; Dani. She was Danny Phantom's younger, gender-swapped clone. They were so similar in so many ways. They looked alike (dark black hair and intense blue eyes), shared similar interests (being an astronaut), liked most of the same music (Dumpty Humpty), and had the same favorite foods (Nasty Burger, family bucket of fried chicken, Sugar Puff cereal, and chocolate ice cream) . They even shared the same secret half-ghost superpowers!
And, just in the last couple of months, the same taste in girls. Or rather, 'girl' singular. One Sam Manson.
Dani continued thinking out loud, as she perched on the top of a radio mast high above the city, kicking her feet. "I can't stop thinking about her during the day. Her eyes, her hair, the way she moves, that sweet slice of belly she has on display... " A pause while she wipes the drool. "And at night! Those strange dreams: what I feel, and the way they make me feel -down there..." She shakes it off.
"But Danny really likes Sam, and I'm pretty sure she has a thing for him, too..." A fact which previously she had found amusing, and now found depressing. "On the other hand Danny's never managed to actually say anything to Sam about it, and he's always after those other girls at school. And I'm Danny's clone, we're practically the same person - If Sam likes him, maybe she could like me too! And I'm not afraid to let her know!"
"That's it, I can't take it any more! Look out Amity Park! Here comes Dani Phantom!" Leaping into the air, Dani transforms into her ghost form, and speeds away invisibly over the city.
