This choice: Luminara has some fun with the Separatists • Go Back...Chapter #6Luminara has some fun with the Separatists by: Unknown ...Well, this was one way to defeat the Separatist, the Jedi master thought.Things that most beings in the galaxy would call strange, or unnatural was what Luminara considered the most interesting. She, as well as her peers and fellow Jedi had used these unnatural powers to help defend the Republic and the people who could not defend themselves. She was one of the many million of beings throughout the thousand generations of the Jedi that had defended the principles of the Republic and its people. When the War had started, Many Jedi had been finding it harder and harder to resist the negative emotions that would lead to the dark side. Luminara during these hard times had tried her best to help her fellow Jedi fight these emotions and keep them in check. Many Jedi padawans and fellow knights, as well as the council admired her for her immense Will power. Some even saw her as Invincible to such thoughts.
...They were wrong, because at the end of the day, she was mortal just like any other being and she has made mistakes. She will keep making mistakes as long as she lives and right now she needs to not make this mistake. Letting the power she has get to her head, the power to destroy by just casually moving as if walking through the halls of the Jedi Temple. She foresaw the problem of using power's like the shrinking ray during war. Not only for its use to be misused but its ability to corrupt a person. Maybe that is why the Republic asked the Jedi to use these on one of their own, there power to resist the misuse of such power, and with her very strong will to resist such temptation, the Jedi council decided she be the first to use such a weapon.
But now was not the time for regrets of what should have been. She had a mission to complete, so that was her first objective. The thousands of battle droids on this planet had now been shrunken to less than an inch tall, and had now become as dangerous as ants. Their last few seconds of life was the view the the Jedi master's star ship sized boot coming down on them. Grinding them to dust and leaving little stains of oil at the bottom of her sole, they had no chance of victory. The droids further down the path she walked began to fire on her, millions of tiny red blaster bolts hit the Giant master's robes, and if normal sized would have been easily able to erase the Jedi's existence and avenge their mechanical brothers. But now that they were many times smaller then even the boots of the general, the blaster bolts were much to weak to even penetrate the robes of the master, much less go thorough her skin.
Seeing their blaster bolts do absolutely nothing to the giantess caused the typical b1 battle droids to stop firing and stare at the Jedi master in confusion. Luminara with a straight face, lifted her boot into the air and over the battle droids, leaving them covered in its shadow. The master then flexed her foot causing some of the reaming parts of the battle droids to fall off of her boot and onto the ground below. At seeing their mechanical allies completely dismantled, the droids ran in fear, praying to their maker that they would survive.
The Jedi master, after seeing the droids leave running, lowered her boot back into the ground. While many other Jedi in her position would have smashed them to pieces, she felt that now that they were at that size and were no longer a threat to anyone, destroying them was no longer necessary. She was practically a goddess to any being at the size those droids were and she would not be a Goddess filled with wrath, but a gentle, kind Goddess, destroying only as a last result.
The Jedi master smiled and even chucked when seeing the very minuscule droids run away. At their size they could be collected and then with some time could be reprogrammed to help fight the war on the side of the Republic. "Not a bad Idea, though Gree and the clones might disagree." Her clone commander and his battalion would more than likely just want to crush the droids with their bare hands or use them for target practice. The other clones would be no different, but still no change was perfect. It took time.
Returning to the mission at hand, the green skinned Jedi headed to the base of the CIS, where a commander was leading the army of droids. Once she captured him, the battle would be over. Considering his very small size now, as well as the ships he had were now shrunk to about the size of a fly, but had the speed of a turtle, capturing him and his ships would be easy.
Luminara continued her walk until she had found the base. The base itself was small enough to where only a few stomps would be enough to destroy it. Then out of the corner of her eye she saw a ship, a capital ship, speeding away from the base. No doubt the Commander could see her very large frame and tried to leave as fast as he could. Not fast enough it would seem, Luminara thought as she simply quickened her pace and snatched up the tiny ship in her hand. With no where else to go but directly into the Jedi's fingers and the commanders fear at an all time high, he made the ship stop. Now it was time to speak to the very big Jedi outside. Hopefully she would simply arrest him and not just crush his bug sized frame.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
