Chapter #35

Into the Mind of Caleb; Into the Body of Hannah

by: rugal b. Author IconMail Icon
The feeling of protectiveness over Evie is very strong. Violating and enjoying her is something you couldn't even bring yourself to do when you were under her mask and now you'd allow Caleb access to her body? That feeling wins out and you decide no way, no how, never ever. "Sorry," you reply shaking your head, "but I can't."

"Oh come the fuck on," he replies with exasperation heavy in his voice. "You've been bouncing around and what have I gotten? Jack shit."

"You have masks get some girls of your own."

"I was," he whines. "Brooke was looking really nice today and you know how she thinks I'm funny so I thought I'd make a play at getting her."

"Brooke? Since when did she find you funny," you snort.

"Since I was helping her out in a few classes last year," he says defensively.

"Must not have been good help then," you grin.

"Laugh it up, Prescott," he grumbles. "I've been giving her some help in Muniz's too."

"Alright, fine, so why get a mask of her? Why not ask her out?"

"Why don't I," he asks in surprise. "I don't know..."

"Does she have a boyfriend or something?"

"Well, no. At least I don't think she does," he says. "It's just..."

"Just what," you ask, placing your hands on your hips. "Are you that intent on trying to get with Eva? Or do you think Cindy is going to magically leave Seth to get with you?"

"Well, I mean, it's fucking Eva," he exclaims but then falls quiet.

"And Eva's great and all but it's not like Brooke is bad," you tell him. "Oh no, she's an eight and not a ten! How horrible! You need to stop having these unrealistic standards."

"Well if you're so interested in Brooke's love life why don't you give me this girl's mask," he points at you and then himself, "and you take my mask. Then you can date her until you're bored."

For a moment you're tempted to tell him "fine".

Brooke Galloway is not a thin girl but neither is she fat or even chubby. She's a girl with meat on her but in a way that fits together very nicely with arms shaped by the repetitive, daily swinging of a tennis racket. Her chest, ass, thighs, stomach... all would make nice handholds as she's on top of you, her sparkling green eyes staring into your eyes, her thick auburn hair falling loosely around your faces as her large lips smash hungrily against your own. Her voice, sweet as honey, whispering softly into your ear to fuck her long but gently, for you can't imagine a girl like Brooke wanting it rough, and moaning and whimpering in ecstasy.

Oh yes, if Caleb is telling the truth then you would very much want to trade places with him to experience a girl like Brooke whether that meant from Caleb's body or from her own.

But that would be under normal circumstances and sadly these are not normal circumstances. You made a promise to Evie and it's one you intend to keep. So you give a defiant shake of your head. "Look, I'm not giving you the mask okay," you tell him.

"You're not even going to need it once you're this Hannah girl," he protests, however it's mostly falling on deaf ears.

"I don't know that," you tell him. "I mean maybe Evie decides she wants to try out Hannah's life. I'd need her mask in that case so I can't have it hanging around with you."

"Yeah but how likely is..." Caleb stops and throws up his hands in defeat. "You know what, fine. Don't give it to me and take the one mask I have left. But if you're going to do that then I want you to make up another mask and when you've switched I want you to get me a soccer hottie. Anita or Bonny or one of the JV girls or whoever. I just want a mask by tomorrow."

"Are you that desperate to play with a pair of tits," you smirk and then move as he tosses one of the rags that you'd been previously using to polish masks at your head.

"Fuck you, just do it or I'll risk an ass kicking to tell Chen where you are."

You look at him in shock; he wouldn't, would he? No, probably not you realize and the shock quickly fades. But you figure it's best to appease him for now so you make a promise to him that by tomorrow or Wednesday you'll get a mask of someone from the soccer team for him.

Caleb and yourself the rest of the afternoon looking at the next spell in the book, translating and deciphering its meaning and once you do you both give up on advancing for the time being. The next spell calls for a couple of things: hair from the spell caster, dirt and igniting agent. You're supposed to place the hair on the dirt, pour on the igniting agent and light the entire thing. When it goes out you light it again. It's a process you would need to repeat, wait for it to go out then reignite it, until it no longer lights up. The problems, however, are two-fold.

First, the book doesn't specify how long it'll burn A few minutes? Hours? Days? It doesn't tell you how many times you'd need to re-light it either. So you're supposed to let a pile of dirt burn in a basement for an indeterminate amount of time until it no longer catches fire and that strikes the both of you as wildly dangerous.

Second, to call it a "pile" is putting it lightly. The book is asking for what would amount to creating a small hill in the basement, hundreds of pounds of dirt would be needed for the spell. Beyond that, there's the creepiness of it specifying that the dirt come from a graveyard. While it wouldn't be hard to run to the cemetery at night to grab dirt it would be tiring and time consuming, not to mention the unease you'd feel hanging around such a place. To do it you'd need a truck or van and some extra help. You could always go to the former Gordon Black but you know he'd kill you so that doesn't seem a viable option at the moment.

The both of you decide to wait a while and try and work things out to get this done. For now, however, it's evening so Caleb decides it's time to get home before is mother starts to worry. The sleeping bag and other things are still down here so you say your goodbyes and soon it's only yourself in the cool, dank basement. You decide to get started on the mask for Caleb and head over to the material but stop as you find something... a mask! Not a blank one either, the blank is sitting on the other end of the table, but a sealed one. You wonder if Caleb did manage to get one but your look reveals it to be his own mask. Did he just forget it down here? Probably.

You're about to set it back down but curiosity gets to you. He seemed awfully agitated when you brought up asking out Brooke and you wonder why? It's like snooping through a diary and you can't resist the temptation so you strip out of Evie's clothes, then her mask, then place Caleb's too your face.

You awake to the sensation of being your best friend once more. You want to know what the deal with Brooke was so once you've adjusted you decide to dive deep into his mind until you find that little door marked "Brooke Galloway" and enter.

The memories are there before you and once you've begun sorting them, you find that Caleb actually was telling the truth. Math and science have never been strong suits for Brooke so Caleb had started tutoring her in both last year. While she realized she was unable to hack the science at the AP level and dropped down to biology this year, she's been pushing in the math department so Caleb has often been helping her in class, and even one or two times in the library, with the subject matter. She does laugh at his little jokes, and it is a sweet laugh you note, and you realize that he finds talking to her comfortable and easy.

But there's something else too you notice in them. The way that Brooke encourages his wit or his smarts. The way she listens attentively when he's talking even if it's not about the class work. There's the little smiles she flashes towards him as she tucks a bit of hair behind her ears. You are almost certain she's interested in him but why does he not make a move? Surely he's not that oblivious.

And it's because of Kelsey and Amanda and Mansfield and Golia and all of the other pricks at the top of the AP group. They would make his life hell if he tried anything. He's not good enough for her, they'd say. After the way Chelsea talked to Eva about their little "date" you don't find those fears unfounded either.

So having found your answer, you take the mask off and get back to work finishing the mask. But you decide to offer him more help than just getting a soccer player's tits to fondle. Hannah hanging around Evie will help her, maybe her hanging around Caleb will make him a little more palatable as well.

its me
i'm in

You fire the text Evie and then make a note of how good your body feels. Strong and muscly in all of the right places, you feel like you could crush Caleb's head between your thighs, a prominent chest that feels good to touch. A large amount of hair, usually braided back but that you're keeping loose due to time constraints.

Hannah Westrick will make a nice home and getting her had been easy. You'd come up, as Evie, to Anita and Hannah asked to talk to Hannah quietly to clear the air. Then it'd just been a case of slapping the blank mask onto her, throwing Dane's mask on and waiting around for her to get dressed and leave before placing her own mask on your face.

oh, ok cool!
can we meet after school then?

That's the reply Evie sends back. Hannah does have an appointment after school to grab some food with Marc. You can work quickly to introduce a wedge into the relationship by blowing it off to hang out with Evie but you wonder if taking it slow and getting a feel for things, playing it normal for the moment, might be for the best.
