Chapter #7

Welcoming committee

    by: Crydos Author IconMail Icon
Gliding above clouds and soaring trough gentle western winds, gryphon glad in green feathers flapped its wings tiredly. Journey back to home, located at the root of mountain top hidden by curious eyes, had been much cumbersome with heavy weight sloshing back and forth inside bulging gut with each wing strike. Sense on relief appeared in birds intellectual eyes, when familiar looking cave came into its view, taking one long last glide, green beast landed on a edge of cliff with a thud. Beast cooed in joy and rustled pair of large wings before folding them on the sides of his body hiding swaying and still squirming belly from sight.

Two small gryphon's ran from the cave to greet him, noisily chirping as they did, throwing themselves at his feet. Ghryphon cooed again, leaning its head down and exchanging beaks chirping and nuzzling fuzzy white birds that were his offspring. Smaller beast's soon lost interest in their father and rather hungrily started to circle him from both sides showing more interest what he was carrying with in him. Poking at him with their beaks, crawling under and trying out that gut by pushing their head against round midsection which churned and vibrated from their caressing moves. Realizing it was dinner time, both chicks quickly ran in front of the male, chirping and opening their maws wide, pushing their heads up towards larger beak while using their shoulders to push each other away from him

Male only cackled its beak while watching two sister quarrel from the right to be fed first. wondering why is mate had not come to greet him, perhaps he should go look where she had gone to but these sister had sort patience, again they were headbutting him and his belly as if telling to hurry and give them food. perhaps his body already used to such, feeling as large still wriggling lump had started to rise from bottom of the belly, probably one of the dragon's slowly moved towards lower part of the neck, readying to be delivered back into his mouth
