Not giving in and using logic as is to be expected of the calculating leader of the Teen Titans Robin opens his mouth and says "I prefer if you carried me in your hand." Getting the message Bumblebee wasted no time and kept the shrunken leader in her hand. Beginning to move, she soon found herself at the main doors of Titan's Tower. Flicking her wings a bit, within moments she jumped up and began to fly. The cold air was a bit surprising for Robin considering his size, but from his point of view he managed to glance at a spectacular sight of the city he protects. This doesn't compare to the view he has from the Tower's living room. As he is he seriously feels like he's flying even though its Bumblebee doing the flying. He sees the buildings, the heavy traffic congested streets, the parks, etc. As he took in the sights, he noticed Bumblebee was headed towards a familiar locale to Robin. It was the pizza place he and his teammates ate regularly. From a distance he could make out specifically the one he wanted to see. With dark gloomy colors, Raven's figure was visible. Next to her was the colorful Starfire. Both of them sitting eating pizza. But the others are missing. Bumblebee sped and quickly made her way towards the two girls.
Landing with finesse and swiftly Bumblebee slightly surprises the two girls enjoying their meal. Starfire asks "Oh friend Bumblebee how good it is to see you. Have you come to join us in the eating of the pizza?" The snarky and darker Raven having a better handle on the situation says "Put a cork in it Starfire." Bumblebee extends her hand with the tiny Robin and drops him on the table for Raven and Starfire to see. Once done Bee says "If I'm here Raven, you know what this is all about." Starfire finally understanding the situation better says "Oh so has Robin learned to not worry so much?" "Yep!" says a proud Bumblebee nodding her head while she keeps her arms crossed and her eyes closed.
Raven is quick to extend her pale hand towards Robin. Laying it flat for him to jump on she waits for him to take action. Robin couldn't believe everything that has happened to him lately. What could have been a horrid situation, ended up being much better than what he had expected. And now after everything he's experienced Robin jumped on Raven's hand and said "I'm ready to return to my original size." Raven lifted the tiny Robin close to her face. Being an empath, Raven can tell the emotional state of others. Not to mention she has a bond with Robin as she's entered his mind before. She shot a cold expression towards the boy. Though he was a reserved individual, he had to admit being in the presence of such a strict person at his size was a bit nerve wrecking. After having her fill of analyzing Robin's mental state, Raven puts him down on the table and says "You did well Bumblebee. I can't detect any stress or emotional turmoil in Robin. He's very much changed for the better."
"As if there was ever any doubt about my skills!"
Says Bee rather proudly. "So are you going to return him to normal size right now?" asks a curious Bumblebee. Raven nods, but doesn't utter a word. Closing her eyes she began to concentrate. After a moment she opens them and they are glowing of a familiar jet black aura. Opening her mouth Raven begins to chant the ever famous incantation:
"Azarath Metrion Zinthos"
From her eyes a dark beam shot towards Robin's tiny figure. The darkness enveloped the boy wonder. Within moments, the darkness that covered the leader of the Teen Titans began to grow. By the second it continued to grow, so much so that Starfire felt the need to remove the pizza as she didn't want it to be knocked off the table. After it reaches a standard size for a human the darkness began to dissipate. In its wake it left Robin's body laid on the table. But this time however, Robin's body was no longer small. It's been returned to its former glory. Clapping could be heard, turning to the side Raven and Bumblebee spot Starfire who shows a smile to see Robin back to normal as she puts the pizza on a seat.
Beginning to stir and opening his eyes the first thing Robin does is slowly raise himself into a sitting position. Seeing the table he's sitting on, he spots his comrades. Immediately jumping from the table onto the floor he continues to fix his gaze on the three female Titans. Being able to stare at them face to face under his own will has put to rest Robin's insecurities. Feeling a twinge of excitement growing within him, Robin makes a fist and says sounding glad "Thanks Raven." Raven never being the chatty type, simply silently nods. At least the Titans have their leader back. All is well.
Later that day....
It's been a few hours since Robin has been returned to normal. In the middle of the street, he's accompanying Bumblebee gather her things as she's preparing to head back to Titan's East. Many of her things are already on a car.
"Do you really have to leave so soon?"
Asks Robin. "What are you going to miss me?" teases Bumblebee. Gathering himself Robin says "To tell you the truth yeah. You've helped me out. Helped me see a problem I couldn't see on my own." "Well that's just the way things are Boy Wonder. Can't change that I'm needed elsewhere." says Bumblebee headed towards the door of her vehicle with Robin closely following behind. Turning to face him Bumblebee says "Tell you what, next time you're in my town, I'm sure we can do something. Til then see you around." Bee extends her hand towards the Titan leader. Understanding this isn't exactly the end of their alliance, Robin takes her hand and shakes it. Not wanting to drag this out, Bumblebee gets on her car, starts the engine, and drives off.
As her car moves further and further away into the distance, Robin realizes what a good friend Bumblebee is for accepting to listen to the insecurities his comrades had and for taking the time to actually help him.
