in the package were a number of vials, each a contained a different color of clear liquid. there was also a note that read:
Dear Recipient,
You have been randomly selected by the interdimensional council of Geloo to test these seven new potions. If you successfully test each one within one of your earth weeks, then you shall receive your weight in solid gold; we hear that's valuable on your world for some reason. Be aware that if you fail to complete this test, or if you are otherwise inconvenienced, the council is not held responsible. We will be monitoring you for the next week and will collect what's left of the potions at the end. Good luck and thank you for your cooperation.
P.S. the antidote for everything has been included.
reading though the letter a few more times, you find it all rather hard to believe. was this some sort of hoax? maybe your brother or someone was playing a prank on you. taking the package and it's contents upstairs, you look around, waiting for someone to jump out or start snickering from around a corner or something. but no one appeared to be home as usual.
looking down at the vials again, you can't help but think. what if it's real?... what would you do with all that gold... all you had to do was drink some potions or whatever by the end of the week... and if this is a prank, then surly there wouldn't be anything dangerous in them, probably just food coloring and water.
figuring you had nothing to loose, you look through the different colors: red, blue, green, orange, pink, purple, and white. the letter had said one was the antidote, but hadn't said which one, that was frustrating. scene you had to drink them all eventually, you considered drinking more than one at a time, just to get it over with quickly and get your gold.
you took out the red green vials first, always being a fan of Christmas, and set the rest on top of a cluttered book shelf with out really thinking about it. then you sat down on the worn out couch in the living room and considered the vials.
