Marcus' Murder

Lilith looks up at Mother and Father in turn. "You remember that prison guard, Marcus?"

Mother nods, while you frown. Who is this Marcus? A prison guard? The only guards you know are the ones that chase you through the streets sometimes.

"He was murdered," Lilith says simply. You notice her hands are shaking somewhat. Mother takes them into her own and looks her in the eye.

"What happened?" asks father.
