He is digested

Ash plops into the pichu's stomach. How had his life come to this? Shrunken so small that pokemon could eat him! He went over to the stomach walls and started to bang.

A low rumbling is heard. Unfortunately, your banging just provided the "key" to unlocking his acids. A "faucet" in the upper right corner of the stomach started spewing acid into the chamber.

Ash climbed up on some food, which was slowly melting. He bought himself a few minutes at most.
