Ash has known James for so long, he even sees him more than his own mother nowadays. Despite the relationship the two hold, the trainer knew that James was the kindest member in the trio and wouldn't hurt him. After all, he's never tried to do so before.
James scavenged through some bushes for some berries after some pesky skwovets and a fat greedent stolen his dinner, but it seemed to him that they had taken all the berries too.
"Those varmints have no decency, I couldn't even catch any to show to the boss." the agent sighed, feeling his stomach grumble from hunger and rubbing it as if to soothe it.
Ash marched through the green surroundings until he was met with the agent's foot. He jumped up and pulled on James' white pant leg in order to get his attention.
"Hey, James! Can you hear me!?" the boy shouted as a second measure to make sure he can be heard.
James' head shot up hearing Ash's voice, darting his eyes around the area to see where he was, almost returning to work until he looked at the ground. Before him was Ash, but the young trainer had shrunken to a mere inch and was even shorter than the grass. The agent stared wide eyed at the tiny Ash before his face softened.
"What happened to you?" he asked in a concerned manner, bending down to get a better look at the young trainer. But he still couldn't get a good look at him due to his height, so he held out a hand to Ash as if to invite him to jump on.
Should he trust him?
