The basilisk body was warm, soft, plus his bed in the slave quarters wasn't nearly as good as this if you could even call it that. As the basilisk slept he could have sworn it was hissing but upon closer inspection it was snoring which Felix found adorable. It was one of the few times he has smiled ever since he became a slave.
