Standing out in the hall Jenson was thinking the brat was taking too long I mean how long does it take to feed a giant snake unless it wasn't hungry for deer he chuckled to himself. That's the reason that Lord William has slaves if something goes wrong and they die nothing of value will be lost. I am going to go get me something to eat and ended up completely forgetting about Felix. Meanwhile Felix was still stuck in the cell with the basilisk sleeping on top of him. The basilisk head was resting on his chest too heavy for him to move off him but not so heavy that it was crushing him. Even if it wasn't too heavy he was to afraid to move anyway because he was scared of what would happen if he woke it up a giant snake that could eat him whole. Speaking of that why did it did not eat him when it had the chance. Maybe it decided that he made a better pillow then prey, that's why it was nuzzling him instead. Since he was clearly not going anywhere he had no choice then to reflect on his situation, despite the fact he was trapped he was not uncomfortable. The basilisk body was warm, soft, plus his bed in the slave quarters wasn't nearly as good as this if you could even call it that. As the basilisk slept he could have sworn it was hissing but upon closer inspection it was snoring which Felix found adorable. It was one of the few times he has smiled ever since he became a slave. Felix thought that maybe the basilisk wasn't as bad as he believed at first before he followed the basilisk lead and fell asleep himself. As morning came Felix woke up a realized that...
