"Well well what do we have here! You know I was just dreaming about you two..... and how I squished the pair of you oh so easily beneath my paws. It was so exciting and fulfilling but it was a just dream..." Rexar wakes and spots both you and Tydo.
"Tell me, does any one of you wish to help me experience the same satisfaction and glory I had in my dream from crushing the both of you and utterly reducing your feeble bodies to paste?" Rexar flexes his paws as he taunts you and Tydo.
As playful as Rexar was, encounter with him were indeed frightening. Not only was there the risk of being flattened by those monstrous paws, there was also the alternative, of... cleaning them. You froze. Dying was not in your agenda today! In one quick effortless step, Rexar would destroy you and your remains would be non-existent.
"Come over here by the side of my right paw. Don't mind the smell though, you'll have to get used to it." Rexar laughed. "Tydo! You'll be getting squashed today. Come lay down beneath my left paw." Rexar ordered. You were shocked and relieved at the same time, but now your friend was in danger. Part of you wanted to help your friend but that would mean switching places with him. Running was definitely not an option, one attempt to escape and you would both die. The smell of Rexar's paws were getting to you and the fact that the putrid smell was enhanced by a dog's keen sense of smell, didn't help one bit. After contemplating whether to help Tydo or not, you finally decide to....
