Alex enjoyed the day in the park. He was boarding with his friends. They didn't even realize he was taller. He only told his best friend.
"Wow, you're gonna get bigger." Toby wondered.
"Yes, I plan to be huge." Alex joked.
They were together until night. Then Alex's father came for his son and took him home. After a hearty dinner, the boy slipped into his bed tiredly.
The next morning when Alex got up he felt something different. He looked at his body. He guessed what had happened and went to the doorway and marked his height on it.
"I'm 5'11!" He was amazed. "No wonder I'm hungry. It's time to eat everything."
Her parents weren't home so he had breakfast alone.
"I'm so excited but a little scared. What will Dad say about this. I hope he doesn't offend me. Because I don't think I can hide this from him." That's how he thought.
Then the phone rang and the answering machine turned on.
"Dad Alex is talking. Listen, we just got a call from your aunt with your mom. He was taken to the hospital so we have to go there immediately. We won't go home for a week or two. You're big enough to take care of yourself and since there is no school we can't see the meaning of a babysitter. We'll call you again. "
This surprising bad luck is pretty lucky for you. You will have time to figure out what you will tell your parents about your size.
