Polly comes to life!

You and Emily see her body, which has Polly's head on top of it, rise up.

"Emily, are you controlling this?" you ask.

"Unfortunately, no," Emily, her head on Polly's body, says.

It gets freakier as you two witness Polly blinking her button eyes. "Hello," the doll says.

You and Emily are shocked to see Polly talk. "Um, hello," you both say back.

"Emily, thank you for giving me this body," Polly says, then she picks up Emily and hugs her.

"Um, you're welcome," Emily, still surprised, says.

"I'm guessing that the guillotine is more magical than I thought," you mutter.

"Emily, do you want to play?" Polly asks.

Emily thinks for a bit. When she was younger, she wished that Polly would become real. Now, it has happened. Emily decides, "Yes, Polly. Let's play."

"Oh goody!" Polly says with a smile. She carries Emily to their room.

You just blink. Then you decide what to do next.

2. check on the head-swapped Emily and Polly
