Megan Fox's party wasn't the only special group at the hotel. On the floor above the Megan Fox party of rooms another group checked in. This group was a group of girl scout brownies aged four to six. They were told they were going on a camping trip. All the girls were excited. But this camping trip wasn't what boys would think of as a camping trip. The fifteen girls and their four chaperones would spend the nights in the hotel and then hike into the woods. The woods were part of the hotel's property. They would stay on clearly marked trails and look at the flora and fauna in the woods. A camp fire site was set up where the girls could roast marshmellows and tell scary stories. It wasn't a real camping trip but it was the perfect adventure for young girls.
The girls had checked into four rooms, each room had three to four girls and a chaperone who was the mother of one of the girls in that room. The girls slept together in the large king sized bed and the mother would sleep on the portable cot that was rolled into the room. A good time was going to be had by all.
It was still early, about 6:00 and so all the girls were still in their brownie uniforms. In one particular room four girls sat on the bed. There was Kate, age four. Eve, age five, Briana aged six and Jill, also age six. They were all dressed very similarly in their uniforms which included a white polo tee and a brown skirt. Over the tee they wore the official brownie vest. They also wore a white brownie tie. The girls also wore either brown or white turn cuff socks. Their shoes were abandoned on the side of the bed in a random order. Donna, Eve's mother was sitting in a chair watching the girls make up some sort of card game.
They were about to play a game they made up when gas filled the room and they all fell asleep.
