This choice: Continue observing the Pryce family. • Go Back...Chapter #6Continue observing the Pryce family. by: BuddyMac   Kristin stood patiently outside the door for several minutes before she knocked, “Joseph, hurry up I have to go.” She heard the lock click then the door opened.
“I’m trying to get ready sorry. I need my curling iron and makeup bag; I’ll go get it while you go to the bathroom,” Joseph says now concerned with his looks, the trait gained from his mother. He then goes over to his suitcase, which has grown larger with his increased wardrobe, and digs around until he finds what used to be his mother’s makeup bag and her hair styling tools and sprays.
Kristin goes in and sits to take care of her business. A few moments’ later there’s knocking at the door. “Are you done?” Joseph asks.
“Yeah, come on in,” Kristen answers. Joseph opens the door, steps in and lays out ‘his’ products on the counter. Kristen was up kneeling on the counter due to her short stature checking her beard growth. Now with her father’s habit of always being clean shaven she says, “I guess I better shave before we go eat,” to no one in particular. She hops down and goes to lock for ‘her’ razor kit.
As she stepped into the other room, Amanda walked up and caressed her cheek. “I do hope you’re going to clean this up.”
Sighing Kristen says, “Mommy, you know I hate to have stubble. I was coming to get my shave kit.
“Do you need my help?” Amanda asked.
“No I think I can do it myself. You and Daddy have shown me enough times,” replied Kristen.
Kristen returned to the bathroom while her mom followed to check up on Joseph. While Kristen climbed back up on the counter and started preparing to shave. Amanda watched Joseph as he expertly applied some eyeliner and mascara to his eyes. “Makes me proud to see my little boy growing up so fast,” she said proudly and leaned down to kiss his cheek.
“Careful watch the hair, I just got it fixed,” Joseph said concerned.
“Sorry, honey. You about ready to go eat?” she inquired.
“Just a few more touch ups here, then I going to put on something a little nicer and then I’ll be ready.”
Amanda looked over at her daughter, who had lathered up and was pulling a razor across her cheek. “How are you coming along, sweetie,” she asked Kristen.
“Fine, should be done in a few minutes.” Kristen answered rinsing her blade before moving to the other cheek.
