Once your were back upright and standing in Mary's runners, you turned around and came face to face with William Bigby, your best friend from kindergarten and who has a crush on Mary.

"Hi Mary!" says William.

"Ummm..." you mumble in Mary's usually chipper voice.

"I'm... I'm sorry. I'll go now," mutters William, turning to go.

You suddenly feel bad for William.

"Will..." you begin, "Wait!"

He turns and looks at you.

"What?" he asks.

You take a deep breath and reply.
