You begin to feel panic creeping down your spine as you await her recourse. You wince as she lifts up her hand to doll out more punishment, but are shocked when she just let's out a sigh, putting her hand down.
She let's out a small chuckle and says, "You know, Michelle, I thought I'd never forgive the man living in your head after the way he broke my heart. The way that he wooed me, used me, and left me for a girl that he so eloquently stated was, and I quote, 'two levels above me on the hotness scale.' He made me feel like I wasn't worth anything, and I've been holding onto those feeling of shame and resentment for all of these years.
"Every day that I watched you grow reminded me of those things, and I began to resent myself for what I had become, and then your step father came he along. He showed me that I was worth a damn, and that I was beautiful and special, and I will never stop loving him for that. So gradually, those horrible feelings went away and I began to feel whole again. Now every time I look at you, I feel love and pride for the strong, smart and beautiful girl you began to grow into, and I began to forget that you were once the man that had ruined my life, until your father died a year ago. I suddenly began to feel this anger boiling inside of me, that I now know was just grief. I miss him every day, and I know that you do too. I used to feel so alone, with him gone, you away at your new job, your sister getting married, and your brother away at college, but I now know that you kids will always be with me, as well as my Johnathan. I know in my heart, that he'd want me to move on from Mike, so that's just what I plan on doing.
"It took me a while, but I found a way to turn you back to normal, but still keep the daughter that I couldn't bear to be without. I can remove your entire personality and memories from Michelle's body into a clone body that I created for you, Mike. Now, I can't give you back the last twenty years of your life, but I can give you a new identity and enough cash to send you on your way. I only need your word that you will leave me and my family alone. That you will leave, and never return. Can you promise me that?"
Your mind feels as if it is on the verge of imploding as your two colliding personalities fight for dominance. After a bit of strain, Mike's personality gains control of the vocal cords of Michelle's body, and he says, "You have my word, Tina."
