"Oh, right." You replied, not remembering anything about a doctor appointment.
"We need to make sure you're ready for your transition." She then added.
"What!" You exclaimed.
"Chris, please don't do this again." Your mom replied, annoyed. "We've gone over this already. Project Venus proved that a society of women could lead to a utopia, and that means all men have to become women. I know this is difficult for you, but you need to understand taht this is for the betterment of humanity. Now hurry up and get ready, we are not going to be late for your appointment."
You want to protest, but the stern glare your mother gives you conveys that you won't be able to talk yourself out of this. You finish your breakfast quickly and follow your mom to the car. As you get in, you see one of your neighbors about to go for a jog. Looking closely, you realize that she looks similar to a boy that used to live there. As you drove to your appointment, you see that there were no men anywhere. You saw women driving, walking around, eating out in patios, holding hands, and directing traffic. Everywhere you looked were women, with not a man in sight all the way to the hospital.
As you enter the hospital you see a boy about your age, being led by what you assumed to be his mother and a nurse. His head hung low, his eyes were lifeless, as he was resigned to his fate. Your give your name to the receptionist and are told to wait until you are called in. As you sit with your mother you begin to wonder if you should try to run or convince the doctor not to go through with this.
