As Dennis stood there for a moment, finally realizing what he had just done, the roof above them exploded and Dennis was knocked onto his back. Tina’s eyes widened with surprise, but the blast had not caused her any harm. She turned quickly to see what had happened and floating there above her were Superman, Captain Marvel, Thor and Orion. Superman spoke first.
“We’ve been monitoring your activities and with the help of the Martian Manhunter and his brain scans, we know what you’re planning to do. We’re here to stop you now young lady.”
Tina chuckled, seemingly hardly even fazed by four of the most powerful beings on earth. Two of which were gods, one had the power of the gods and the other was Superman!
“Bring it on tough guys. The only thing you did was save me the trouble of hunting you down!”
Before she could continue her brave taunts, Orion opened fire with his powerful Astro Harness, Superman let loose with his heat vision and Thor commanded lightning to rain down. Tina was hit by all three and a fireball of energy enveloped her as she screamed with surprise and pain. Dennis made a run for it the moment the roof was torn off and was heading down the stairs as the second story started to collapse. Tina held her arms up and was being pushed back against the onslaught even as her clothes were disintegrated. Captain Marvel flew down with the speed of Mercury and slammed into Tina full force, knocking her back down through the wall and crashing through the back of the house, tumbling out of control into the back yard. Tina was barely up on one knee and breathing hard when Thor’s hammer slammed into her, smashing her back into the ground with a terrible explosion.
Dennis had made it out the door, but was already running around the side of the house to watch. Tina was pulling herself up again, but was already looking wobbly. Orion had pulled up behind her and gripping her wrists, pulled her arms apart just as Superman delivered a thunderous punch to her midsection with a concussion that knocked Dennis back and took the air out of Tina’s lungs. A second punch to the side of the head was delivered with another horrible crack and once Orion released her she slumped to the ground, gasping for breath and completely disoriented. For all of her bravado and power, she had never been in a super powered fight and while she was plenty tough, this was clearly more firepower than she could handle. But these four men were not going to underestimate her and were going to keep pounding on her until she was knocked out, which to Dennis didn’t look that far off.
What had he done? Here he had apparently created all of this with one picture and what was the result? Tina getting completely destroyed! This wasn’t what he wanted. So as Orion and Superman pulled Tina for crushing blows from Captain Marvel and Thor, Dennis grit his teeth and pulled up the camera. So his thoughts of a powerful Tina had brought all of the superheroes to life. Well then, they need to be part of a fair fight. Or better yet, how about if Tina was just playing. What if she was about to flex up her muscles into indestructible mounds of inhuman power! Having little time to think about the particulars of his decision or the consequences, Dennis snapped the picture and once he did, Tina was now…
