“Hey let her out!” Roberta shouted, assaulting her new neighbour.
Crystal quickly put her hands on the girl an effortlessly held her in place. “You can join her if you want to, I could use both the elbowroom and the extra filling.” She said calmly, the action quickly silencing Roberta who now just looked scared while quivering helplessly in the larger girl's grip.
“Alright then. If you want her back you'll have to play your cards right.” Crystal said as she released the girl and motioned once again for Olivia to continue.
Roberta seemed to recover her composure surprisingly quick, then again they had come here for some throat diving and the assurance from Crystal that Theresa was okay in there, even if there wasn't as much as a jiggle in the larger girl's flesh to tell that her friend was in there, did put her worst fears at ease.
Crystal on the other hand had toiled with the decision of whether or not to digest the girl, but figured she might just as well wait. It'd no doubt be a while before anyone got broke anyhow, so she might just as well enjoy the girl's struggles while they lasted. At any rate if Roberta hadn't been faking it, she wasn't much of a threat, and her tasty friend certainly wasn't, Crystal concluded as she idly rubbed her belly.
Olivia quickly covered the rules, they were the same as last time, though she clarified that the blinds plays as a bet this time, meaning that if one wants to join a hand one has to at least meet the blinds if no one has raised the bet. But there was one difference, the game wouldn't end with an auction until eleven-hundred in markers were stacked on the table, due to the increased number of players.
With that covered the first hand was dealt, with Cindy and Vera pitching in the blinds.
The seating followed after Vera with Mary, Sarah, Helen, Malinda, Jessica, Julianne, Candy, Stacey, Natalie, Candice, Erin, Roxanne, Lilia, Chandra, Mandy, Rose, Brandy, Roberta, Crystal in that order going clockwise and completing the lap with Olivia who had appointed herself the dealer for the first round yet again, after having given everyone their markers.
Perhaps it was because it was the first round, but everyone entered except Malinda and that meant that the pot became quite substantial, not that many dropped out after the flop either, though on the turn most folded, despite the lure of the big win, no thanks to Olivia raising the bet yet again. The river left only Crystal seeing Olivia's raise, but with a flush of spades there was no contest, she'd been the only one with two spades in her hold, the ones that had remained the longest had hoped for a spade on the river, but alas it had turned out to be a three of hearts.
With that initial pot alone, counting a whopping twohundred and seventyfive Olivia passed the threehundred mark, though with no one broke yet for obvious reasons she was at least in a good position for hands to come, much like she had planned.
Crystal had been the one in the worst spot, but after a betting match with Helen and Sarah she managed to make a full recovery and then some.
By the next hand Vera couldn't hide her satisfaction as Helen became the first girl to hit the half-broke mark, she didn't win the hand though, Stacey did, but seeing Helen placed last was satisfying no less.
Her smile turned to a frown though as the next pot went to Helen, what she had held she never revealed, as everyone folded.
Then as if she needed more markers Olivia took home two decent pots in a row, putting her at a staggering total of fivehundred and nintyfive.
After that Crystal and Jessica split a pot, they'd had the same pairs and kicker, problem was that the pot wasn't dividable by two, so the final marker went to Jessica because she was the first one seated after Malinda, who'd been dealing that hand.
A few hands later offered the surprise of Malinda not folding, she figured she'd be a lot safer if she had one win in the luggage and for once she had decent cards. It was still a gamble, but one that paid off. The pot was almost as big as the one Olivia collected in the beginning, in fact it brought Malinda up to a total of threehundred and ten. Still no broke girls yet, but by now there were several girls holding on to just a few markers, perhaps she should gamble a few away so that she wouldn't be forced to buy someone and lose a hundred in the process?
