You look both ways down the aisle, which you now realize is organized by age, not size, and decide that you want to go a little younger. A part of you had never really wanted to grow-up as fast as the world wanted you to, and you deeply wished you had been able to be a kid a little while longer. Realizing this you walk further down the aisle towards the more juvenile clothing. You pass through the preteens and find your self between still "big kid" clothing and seriously little kid. Knowing that you can come back, and try a younger age if you want, you grab an outfit for a seven year old and return to the changing rooms, appreciating the irony of that as you do. This time as you unzip the bag around the clothes you notice that when you touch them they start to grow until they look like they could fit your current age. Just to make sure they haven't somehow altered their properties you check the tag. Yep, still labeled 7. You begin to undress yourself, wondering what will happen once you remove the rest of the outfit. Even as you slide the boxer briefs down, you flinch, expecting yourself to shoot up. But you don't. You take a moment to inspect your twelve year old physique. At twelve you weren't very muscular, although you weren't fat by any means. You were thin yet you had a soft look to your body, like it might have tipped either way. You are still just young enough to avoid any traces of acne, having hit puberty a little late, just after your thirteenth birthday, and your body reflected that, free of hair anywhere except for on your head. You shrug to your reflection and decide to ask Brandy about how you are supposed to change back.
You pull out the outfit, and examine each piece, the shirt has a Scooby-Doo decal, and there are Scooby Underoos to boot. The shorts are simple, plain beige cargo shorts, and the sneakers are socks are suitably seven-year-oldish. You start by pulling on the Scooby-Doo briefs, vaguely remembering a similar pair you owned way back when, although the memory is foggy at best. After that you yank on the shirt, shorts, and socks in quick succession. Even as you pull the second sock into place you feel the same warm, sinking feeling as your body shrinks further down into childhood, your thin frame rounds a little bit, cheeks rounding out to give you dimples when you smile at your reflection, a seven-year-old you grinning back, and your belly softening further slightly. You see that you're missing one of your front teeth, but it just further reinforces the feeling of being young again. Satisfied with your new age, you carefully fold up the twelve year old outfit and place it back on its hanger in its protective sleeve, zipping it up. You quickly lace up your sneakers and reach up to open the door. As you do you realize that you have a "small" issue, as a young kid, you can't reach up high enough to place the clothes on the return rack. Resolving to return with Brandy, you set off towards the cashiers desk.
"I see you found another age, let me guess, you need a little help putting the other outfit away?" she says looking at you and guessing your dilemma. You nod and lead her back to the Changing rooms. She picks the clothes up and places the bag on the return rail explaining that she'll put it away a little later. "Is that all or would you like help with something else?" she asks politely, ever the picture of customer care. "Yeah," you reply, pausing as your young boy's falsetto startles you, and then continuing "How do I change back? I took off the other clothes and stayed the same age! Didn't you say I could undo this?" "Calm down, I did forget to mention that I'll have to quickly alter your "normal" clothes if you want to buy an outfit. Once I have, it'll change you back to your regular age. Or, of course if you chose not to buy I can make the alteration right now..." she trails off waiting for your response. You enjoy your smaller form a great deal and decide that you want to keep the seven year old outfit after all, you tell her so and she smiles and nods. "Oh, there is one more thing," she adds, pausing to make sure she has your attention, "While you are wearing these clothes it is important to remember that other physical changes can still be made to your body on top of the clothing spell, since you have to put your normal clothes on to break the enchantment. However, your normal clothes will be able to return you to your original shape regardless of what extra transformations you might have gained. The Clothes you are wearing right now should also accommodate any extra changes you make, but they will revert to their usual size and shape once you take them off, and as you have noticed, they adjust to your current shape once you touch them. The same will go for your regular clothes once I am finished altering them," she finishes and gathers up your clothes and takes them behind the counter for a moment, before returning them, neatly folded and placed into a small bag for you to carry. She rings up your purchase and you thank her for the clothing, and you leave the store. "Be careful what you do in this mall," she calls as you leave, "most of the stores offer some kind of transformation" With that knowledge in mind you walk out, a lone seven year old in the large mall, although you spy several other young children walking unaccompanied, which you suspect are regressed adults like yourself. You also spy your friend Matt walking into the store, Do you want to mess with him? Or do you want to keep exploring the rest of the Mall?
