I kind of hoped that Deidre would leave after seeing that I was okay, but that never happened. Instead, she began to wear a sheepish but inquisitive expression as she sized me up and down in my grossly undersized clothing. I tried to pull my nightie down to cover my panties but they just wouldn't reach. Deidre then broke the silence.
"Say, Tina, so umm... I've been shovelling snow from my drive way but it's hard work and the shovel I have is too big and heavy. Do you think you could help me out?"
"You want me to shrink your shovel a little?" I asked.
"That's not what I had in mind. I wondered if you would mind growing me a little? I've always been just a little over 5 feet tall and I think it'd be a lot of fun to be bigger for a change! Even if just for a little while. Please?"
I hesitated for a moment, weighing up whether I wanted to share this power. I suppose it couldn't hurt and I could always shrink her back to normal if things got out of hand.
"Sure Dee, I'd be glad to help. Don't you want to uh, take your suit off? As you can see, they don't seem to grow along with the person." I said, gesturing down at myself.
"No thanks, just let me have it - I'm sure I won't grow that much, right?"
"Okay, here goes..."
I fired the gun at Deidre who let out a gasp as a barely visible beam hit her. She moaned "Woah... that feels... so nice!". I could clearly see my neighbour's arms and legs begin to be exposed as the cuffs of her snowsuit retracted and her head began to rise. She moaned again as the fabric of her clothing pressed tightly into her growing body. Soon she usual size relative to you, probably putting her at over 6 and a half feet tall. She stopped growing with a loud exhale.
"Oh my, Tina! That was such a rush! Everything looks...so small!"
Deidre took a step towards me and compared her height to mine. "Except for you, you look practically normal sized... well, except for the tiny night dress." she chuckled.
I laughed back. "Hehe, yeah, looks like everything is in proportion." I was a little nervous as Deidre now seemed much more confident and composed. I suppose gaining more than a foot of height will do that for you. "So, are you gonna go and see how that yard work feels now?" I asked.
