I could see the remote in clear site. I said to myself "All I have to do is get the remote and run." as I crept closer to the door. I got to the foot of the doorstep and looked up, Laura was twirling her hair and I guess that was distracting her. I then turned my focus to the remote which was still floating in the trashcan cover. Just as I started to run towards the remote's location my luck turned, Laura's left hand reached down and she missed me. I then grabbed the remote and stopped.
