Chapter #6Trouble! Eve intervenes, and a new friend? by: UlitmateNeo   Will was in trouble. due to him attacking a Dragdra that was tormenting his village, he was now being chased by said creature. He turned around and ducked, seeing a fireball that barely missed him. "Why does this kind of stuff happen only to me?" he said to himself.
Meanwhile, Eve was sleeping in her cave, oblivious to the threat. "HELP!" a young boy shouted, waking her up. Rather worried, she waited for the thing to come to her.
Will, after a long, tiring chase, was trapped between a massive tree and the monster. The dragdra leaped at him, his death certain. Suddenly, a hand a little smaller than Will grabbed the monster and slammed it down to the ground. Yelping, the dragdra tried to run, but due to the thing's strong grip, it could not. The creature then showed itself, revealing it to be Eve.
Will, scared of this thing that just stopped a dragdra, curled up in a fetal position, hoping the monster would leave.
"Excuse me, but are you alright?" Eve said, worried about him.
"Wh-Who's there?! If you can hear me, save me from this thing!" said Will, the fear evident.
"The only one that is talking to you is holding the dragdra!" Eve said, a little angry, but glad the kid wasn't dead.
"W-Wh-Wha-What!?" Will exclaimed, surprised at this.
"I wanted to help you because I can." Eve told him.
"Thanks?" the boy said.
"Bye!" Eve then said, leaving with the dragdra, who gave up some time ago.
"W-Wait! What is your name?"
"Name's Eve. As for you beast, you're coming with me!" She then said to the dragdra. The dragdra, scared at this revelation, tried to claw her eyes out, but to no avail. "Bye little guy!"
"Bye." Will repeated.
After she left and seeing the coast was clear, he got up and ran to his house.
As soon as Eve got to her cave, the dragdra tried biting its paw off.
"O.K dragdra, lets see if your like me or different." Eve said to the dragdra before flipping it over to see if it was a boy or girl. The now known dragdraness, angry at what Eve just did, roared at her.
"I'm sorry miss dragdra, but I had to know. Please tell me why you were trying to kill the little guy." Eve explained and asking why she chased after him at the same time.
The dragdraness, amazed at what she asked tried to tell her by roaring and grunting.
"I'm sorry miss dragdra, but I don't know what you're saying!" Eve said.
The dragdraness, surprised, tried to nuzzle Eve, almost as if saying 'At least you tried.'
Suddenly, "Do not worry, I've got an idea!" Eve said a plan forming in her head. "I need you trust me, alright?"
The dragdraness stood still, as if she saying 'OK.'
Eve recites a spell she made, "O Mighty One, please help me with this matter. Help this creature learn the gift of knowledge."
As she finished. a bolt shot out of her hands and struck the dragdraness. A lot of smoke covered both of their eyes.
Coughing Eve asked, "Miss dragdra, are you alright?"
"No I am not!" The dragdraness said. "I-I understand you!"
"Finally! What did you have to-" The dragdraness did not finish because she was in shock at what happened to her. Eve you see made her more human! She looked 20 or so, her yellow-red hair stopped at her shoulders, her body, though more mature than Eve's, still looked a teen's(19B, 40W, and 21H). Her wings, although they still looked demonic, they looked as if they slimmed down, and the three heads appeared to share the new body.
"I'm-I'm hu-hum-human!?" The now human-like dragdra said.
"Apparently." Eve commented.
"YOU!" The dragdra shouted before putting her hand around Eve's neck in a death grip. "WHY DID YOU DO THIS!?!" She yelled, the anger apparent.
"Because I thought I would kill two birds with one stone: Understanding you." Eve said before coughing.
"And the other!?!?"
"....To have a friend." Eve finished.
The dragdraness, shocked because of the answer, dropped her. "R-Really?"
"Yeah, I mean If you lived all by yourself, wouldn't you become lonely?" Eve explained, her sadness obvious.
"Yeah, I guess."
"You never told me you name" Eve said.
"You first." The dragdra countered.
"Alright. My name is Eve." Eve said introducing herself.
"I-I-I-I-"
"Yes?"
"....I don't have a name." The dragdraness sadly said.
"What?! You don't have a name!?"
"Yeah. My parents never named me."
"Can-Can I name you?" Eve kindly said.
"Yeah, If you can."
"How about Dina?"
"Dina...I like it" The now named Dina said.
"It's kinda dark out. If you want-"
Eve was interrupted by Dina's answer, "I accept."
About 20 minutes later...
"Good night, Dina." " Good night, Eve." the two said to each other before sleeping on opposite sides of the cave.
When they wake up...  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
