Victoria helps her friend out

Victoria couldn't help but feel bad for her friend. Lilo wasn't weird, just misunderstood, and Mertle and her posse seemed to take great delight in making Lilo miserable for reasons she couldn't even understand...or at least, Mertle herself did, Lilo had told her about the times Yuki, Teresa and Elena actually spent time with her and seemed to enjoy the experience before ultimately deciding to go back to Mertle after Lilo did or said something they weren't expecting.
Not bullies themselves, but not exactly making things better, just followers. It was a shame that something as inconsequential as height was the latest reason for Lilo to be mocked by Mertle's little group, it's not like there was anything she could do to help Lilo grow taller, Victoria was naturally tall thanks to her family's genetics, it wasn't anything special she did.
It was at that moment that Victoria felt a lightbulb turn on in her mind. She remembered reading a story online about two giant monsters that attacked the carnival not too long ago, and now one of those monsters had actually been re-purposed to become its most popular ride. Of course, Lilo told her all about that adventure, as those monsters were Stitch and one of his cousins. Lilo had used a growth ray to give Stitch a growth spurt so he could ride the carnival rides, but things got out of hand in a hurry.
Maybe though, Victoria could use the ray to make Lilo bigger instead! All she would need to do is give her a quick and subtle zap, and Lilo would be just big enough to make sure Mertle didn't bug her anymore. With her plan in mind, Victoria went over to Lilo and tried to comfort her as best as she could for now. "Don't worry about her Lilo, I'm sure you'll hit a growth spurt soon."
"Maybe." Lilo looked up at her slightly taller friend. "I hope I can be as tall as you Victoria."
"I'm sure you will be." Victoria held back a knowing smile. "Come on, let's get hula class over with, then we can go to your house and play."
