Keoni, what's he doing here?

Lilo forced a gasp back into her throat when she saw her crush Keoni standing on her porch. She'd expected Victoria, since they agreed to meet up later. But somehow, she didn't find herself disappointed in the slightest. In fact, nothing against her best human friend, Lilo was extremely happy to see it was Keoni instead of Victoria. Her heartbeat was running a mile a minute, her cheeks flushed. "K-Keoni! Hi!" She cleared her throat and tried to push down her excitement. "Hi," she said more quietly. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"
"Um...well..." Keoni scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "I was...just in the neighborhood, thought I'd come over and...check on you."
"Oh." Lilo blushed a little deeper. "Well, thanks. I'm doing pretty good. Why? Did I give you the impression that I wasn't feeling well?"
"N-No! No...it's just...after our um...encounter at the shoe store," Now it was Keoni's turn to blush. "I was curious as to what happened to you. Wanted to make sure everything was okay."
Lilo smiled, her 7-year old heart swelling at the touching sentiment. "Aww, that's sweet of you." She couldn't help but giggle girlishly. "But I'm okay...in fact I'm better than okay! I can safely say that today has been one of the better days of my whole life." Lilo then became shy again. "Although..." she looked down at the ground, her hands behind her back as she rubbed the bottom of her foot against the floor. "There is something that could make today even better..."
"Oh yeah? What's that?"
Lilo slowly walked up to Keoni, her new height once again showing just how much she'd grown. She seemed to fit perfectly next to him, and the thought caused her heart to race even faster. "Well...now that I'm big...I was wondering if maybe...we could hang out together? Like, just the two of us?"
Keoni smiled shakily as Lilo wrapped her arms around his neck. "S-Sure!"
