The tingling sensation finally came to a stop when Lilo reached the relatively gargantuan height of 5 foot 5. If she were an adult, that size would still technically be shorter than average...but for a 7 year old girl, she was huge! "Soooo cool!" Lilo was practically bursting at the seams with excitement and giddiness. Just two weeks ago, she was only 3 foot 5, and now she was a whole two feet taller than she used to be. And the way Keoni was looking at her, stunned and speechless, her confidence grew right along with her as she sauntered up to him, looking down at her crush (maybe boyfriend?) with a flirtatious gaze. "You said you liked tall girls, right Keoni?"
"Uh huh..." Keoni nodded.
"Well you're in luck." She wrapped her arms around Keoni, who was now several inches shorter than her after her latest growth spurt. Now their roles had reversed, as his head fit perfectly over her shoulder. "If I keep growing at this rate, soon I'll be the tallest girl in the world!" She glanced down at the hypnotized boy. "Would you like that Keoni? For me to be the tallest girl ever? Keep growing until I touch the clouds?"
"Uh huh..."
Lilo giggled. Clearly, Keoni wasn't really able to think too well. He was obviously too lovestruck for his brain to function. And all because of her? She couldn't believe it. "I dunno how I'm growing," She thought to herself. "But I really don't care if Keoni reacts like this over it." Her crush was all hers now. And not only that, Mertle would never be able to brag about being the tallest girl in class ever again. Before, it was Victoria and Theresa who were the tallest, while Mertle tried to act like that wasn't the case. But now there was no room for debate. Lilo was the tallest girl in the hula class, and she might even have the world record for tallest 7 year old in history. She would have to check later.
For now though, she had another visitor.
"Lilo?!"
