Chapter #7

Some random story ideas

1. Due to a cosmic event bringing the universes very close together, random portals have begun opening in different places around the world, sucking people in and dumping them into Equestria at a greatly reduced size. Many denizens of Equestria are surprised by this sudden development but are quick to help/take advantage of the stranded humans. You are a human male who gets pulled into a portal and sent into the home of a pony and has to survive until you can find some help.

2. Humans were once bigger like ponies and lived in a separated kingdom next to Equestria, they were essentially the elves and dwarves of the world for their intellect, mastery of magic, and craft-making but one day, a curse befell the entire species turning them about 4 inches high. When Humanity became cursed, a group of humans sought to become scavengers in the giants' societies and return to their small dwellings with the food and supplies. Over the centuries, these scavengers became Borrowers as they began living within the houses of the giants' equines without them noticing.

Until one day, they were discovered. However, because of Pony society being new and pretty welcoming to foreigners, they understood their plight and allowed them to live beside them. Living in harmony in a symbiotic relationship over the passing centuries, the Borrowers work on jobs and complete tasks usually not possible for ponies but possible for their small and practical size in exchange for living space, supplies, and food although some still do live on those unaware that belief doesn't have any Borrower in their home.

3. One day, hundred of giant portals opened simultaneously and hordes of ponies began pouring out, seeking to abduct as many noncombative human men and children as possible and take them back to their home plane. This is at the forefront of a massive invasion with the goal of correcting a perceived egregious error in the treatment of men by human women (which is not completely unwarranted), to "rebalance the scales", so to speak. Even though the society would be ostensibly run by mares it would not at all lessen the status of human men, nor would they be reduced to slavery. In fact, I think it likely they will be coddled and pampered by their new governors. The transition will be quick and quiet, with many waking up in the morning to find that the world they thought they knew had suddenly and irrevocably changed. Some may not even realize it even then.

Women will be allowed the same rights as men so long as they abide by the new rules, and the ideology of "Feminism" while being on the surface similar to their own is completely incompatible with Equestrian sensibilities and will be quickly stamped out, and any of them who try to resist or make trouble will find themselves entrapped in a fate... most unpleasant.
