Marco ran as fast as he could towards his home, hoping with all his heart and soul that he wasn’t too late. He had been fearing this day for so long, living in terror when he wouldn’t be able to stop the one thing that would destroy his life and maybe the lives of everyone on Earth. He had to get home and do something before it was too late! As he burst through his front door, rushing upstairs in a blind panic, he nearly tripped over one of the laser puppies. Jumping over the magically created dogs, he dashed towards Stars room and threw open the door. He nearly screamed as he saw that he was too late.
“Marco! Why didn’t you tell me about this Internet thingy?” Star asked as she stared at the screen of a laptop that Janna had let her borrow that came with full Internet availability. Star gaining access to the Internet was the scariest thing Marco could imagine, the power to look up any information, any video, anything she wanted, scared him beyond belief. Star was already a rebellious soul that always looked for action, he could just imagine her getting into a real flame war online that involved someone being burned alive. He knew he might be overreacting just a bit; he did tend to freak out at certain things, but Star was so impressionable. She had nearly got them both killed because of fortune cookies. He just had to hope that she didn’t find anything that could lead her to any dark places on the Internet.
“Wow! Janna left me all these windows with something called porn. Sounds exotic,” Star laughed as she checked out what had been left for them by their friend. Marco slumped back against the wall, crying into the sleeve of his hoodie. Why Janna? Why!?
“Let’s see. Bondage, looks like some of the stuff my mom tried to make me wear under my dress. Feet, why feet but no shoes? Milf, hey this lady looks like your mom, Marco. Marco whimpered as Star got up and brought the laptop over to him, her eyes firmly planted on the screen. She knelt down in front of Marco, turning the computer around so he could see the heavily edited images of someone eating another person. Star finally looked at him, her eyes big and glittery as excitement overwhelmed her. “You never told me humans could do this! It’s awesome!”
“Star, we can’t. Those images are fake. Vore isn’t real,” Marco explained slowly and carefully. He glanced at the screen, blushing at some of the more erotic pictures the site provided. It was interesting porn, but pure fantasy, as Star should know. People couldn’t eat each other, it's completely impossible. Star looked at him like she didn’t believe him for a second before realizing he had no reason to lie. Her excitement died down and she plopped down on her butt, her head upturned as she stared up at the ceiling and let out a loud groan.
“That really stinks. Shoving an entire person into yourself and feeling them wiggle around just sounds like a lot of fun,” Star sighed. She also thought it sounded pretty hot, but Marco already looked pretty embarrassed, and if she admitted that, he might just freak completely out. She didn’t understand why he was so worried. So what if she discovered this online stuff and learned all of these perverted things. If he could see some of the stuff that went on in Mewni after dark, he’d understand why this was nothing to get worked up about. Humans were a bit perverted, but they had nothing on the inhabitants of her dimension or some of the wilder ones out there.
“Sorry, Star. It’s just a fantasy. Humans can’t eat each other, and nothing is going to change that. We are not going to magically learn how to do something that is completely impossible,” Marco laughed softly. The instant he said the M-word, Star leaped to her feet with her smile returning bigger than ever.
“But maybe it can be learned magically,” Star slowly said, her grin threatening to overcome her face as an idea came to her mind. Before Marco could stop her, she rushed over to the Book of Spells by her bed and started going through it. She sped past pages she had already read and went right to the more forbidden spells. Marco held his breath, praying that she wouldn’t be able to find anything to help. It seemed that whatever gods were out there weren’t listening because Star let out a happy squeal.
“Here it is! It’s known as the ‘Snake Mouth Spell’, but it's vore. A spell to allow anyone to eat anyone else without any problems. I can cast it to give the power of vore to anyone, you, me, Janna...”
“Why Janna?” Marco said, the words just coming out of his mouth at the mention of the crazy girl. Giving such power to Janna seemed like the absolute worst idea ever. She would so eat him the first chance she got. If anyone should eat him, it should be Jackie. At that last thought, he shook his head. Now was not the time to be thinking about these kinds of things. He had to do something fast before Star made a huge mistake.
“Let’s see, the spell goes like this,” Star said as she lifted her wand up and started to slowly speak the words that would cast the spell. As soon as she started, the light in the room started to dim and thunderclouds formed outside. The wand glowed with an eerie light red as the spell began and fearing the worst, Marco did perhaps the dumbest thing of his entire life.
“Stop!” Without thinking, Marco grabbed the wand in Star’s hand just as she was finishing her spell. She tried to stop, but it was too late. With both of them clutching the powerful magical wand, a blinding light exploded around them throwing them both back and sending the wand clattering to the floor. Groaning, the teens slowly got up. The spell was seemingly complete. Rubbing the back of his head, Marco could only ask one thing.
“What the heck just happened?”
