A sign escaped Naruto’s lips as he gazed out at the sunset.
To say that Naruto’s gloom was due to said sunset would be both untrue and unfair to the sunset. There really was nothing wrong with it, it was actually rather lovely, filling the sky with deep reds and vibrant orange, which Naruto himself was very particular towards. And these artful colors cast equally artistic shadows and silhouettes all across the landscape they over looked.
Alas however, this view did little to alleviate Naruto’s depression. Not even this wonderful scene could lift Naruto’s spirit as he sat atop his favorite perch, gazing at his favorite view from atop the Hokage monument, the Fourth’s head to be specific.
