The two youths then decided to leave their senior superiors to catch up with one another.
Naruto admittedly had always fancied Sakura even when they were younger and Sakura had yet to develop into the body she had now or even a couple years ago. Sakura however seemingly, like many other young ladies in her class, had eyes for the now turncoat Sasuke Uchiha.
So help him Naruto could never figure how what it was about Sasuke's cold demeanor that attracted such love from the ladies...but that was in the past as it was now he and Sakura had definitely become better friends with one another having served as the shoulder she needed when with her incredible strength she couldn't stop him from leaving.
Now that he was back Naruto still felt hesitant on pulling the possible trigger with Sakura after all he had been away for a long while and wasn't even sure how she felt about him. Yes they were friends but since she was far bigger then him Naruto figured that logic dictated that despite his impulsive nature he should let things play out on it's own.
"So you look...good, Naruto." Sakura stated with a bit of unnatural nervousness.
'Yeah good's fine. He looks a little hotter but no need to tell him that.' commented Sakura's inner voice.
"Uh thanks Sakura-chan. You uh...also look um good."
The blonde chuckled rubbing the back of his spiked hair a sudden nervousness grabbing hold of him much like it had with Sakura.
"Really? Heh thanks. You really don't think I look too freakish do you?"
"What? No way there's nothing freakish about you, Sakura!"
The pink-haired amazon sighed her shoulders shrugging in doing so she nearly made her body appear bigger then it actually was.
"Well there used to be something freakish about me." Sakura stated parting her hair to reveal her forehead and to Naruto's surprise a new red headband.
"I don't see it." Of course he didn't Naruto was either still too dense for his own good or really kind to her.
"But hey you got a new headband!"
"Yeah and seems like so did you."
Naruto nodded explaining how his original was damaged and needed to be replaced Sakura for whatever reason didn't mention how she got hers...
"Anyway like I said Sakura-chan you look great!"
The blonde smiled not realizing the word replacement he had just done.
"Thanks seems like both of us have been training hard these past few years."
"Yeah I have to get stronger for me and for everyone that cares for me." Naruto stated smashing his fists together.
"Yup truth be told Naruto I have a little secret. What you're seeing now isn't my true strength this is just me putting a limit on myself. Tsunade-Sama taught it to me."
"What?"
"Yeah in fact you want to see the real me, Naruto?" Sakura mentioned with a sly wink.
"Uh..."
The blonde could only nod like a child having no earthly idea what Sakura had in store for him.
"Okay here goes..."
Letting her chakra flow fully Sakura began to grow and transform into her true muscled up self...
