This choice: The day of the bell test • Go Back... When Kurenai arrived at the training ground she found herself rather surprised. She had expected to find Naruto, as he apparently had some kind of healing factor, or even Sakura as she didn't have any wounds from yesterday. She hadn't expected to find Hinata here, trying to run laps around the area while weighted down. In truth, Kurenai had expected to have to postpone her test for a few days or just fail her team outright. The reason being that she had brought Hinata to the hospital to have her acid burns treated and such things normally take a few days.
Continuing to watch her timid student run till she hunched over and started huffing, Kurenai decided it was time to make her presence known.

Hinata was tired beyond belief. She hadn't expected running laps while weighed down by someone else her size to be so tiring. Finally getting her second wind Hinata straitened and was about to try for one last lap, when the air in front of her shimmered and Kurenai appeared before her.
"Eep!" The startled Hyuga princess jumped, throwing her balance off and causing Hinata to fall forward. Kurenai watched amused as Hinata twisted herself so she wouldn't land on her stomach. Thought in hindsight, Kurenai couldn't help but, feel sympathy for her student as Hinata landed hard on her back. The stomach the young girl was sporting was of course a victim to gravity and slammed into the poor girl with a hard bounce, causing a loud wet belch to exit Hinata's mouth while her belly bounced and jiggled.
"I would tell you to calm down but, it seems that would be rather pointless now wouldn't it." Kurenai stated more then asked her groaning student.
"Hello, sen-(urp)-sensei."
After helping the girl stand back up Kurenai began to ask if what she was doing here so early, much less alone.
"I'm not a-alone, sensei." Hinata meekly stated. Kurenai looked at her confused and asked for some clarification. "W-well you see, um... I-I needed hel-lp with training. As Kunoichi I n-need to be able to car-rry prisoners or c-captives back to Konoha." Hinata paused for a moment only continuing when Kurenai motioned her to do so.
"All of m-my spare time is u-used for train-ning with my father in our clan style. So I needed to practice." Kurenai smiled as Hinata shyly finished her explanation.
"That's wonderful, Hinata. I'm glad to see you are taking the initiative and continuing to train even when you haven't been ordered to in you spare time." She saw how Hinata seemed to beam in delight at the praise. "However, it is nearly time to start the test, so go ahead and digest your meal and rest." Kurenai found it surprising at how Hinata seemed to suddenly get very nervous.
"I-I can't."
Kurenai could barely hear her as she whispered. "Hinata, if you are having a difficult time digesting this one then you don't need to hide it." Kurenai gently told her while starting to make hand signs for a digestive aid jutsu. "We've all had stubborn meals before. Now just stay still and I'll..."
"NO!" Shouted the shy girl as she quickly jumped away from Kurenai's glowing hands. Kurenai looked on in confusion as Hinata put distance between her and the girls stomach.
"You d-don't understand. I-I at-te Nar-ruto!" Hinata went on to explain how she had asked Naruto to help her with this training and how he had agreed to let her eat him but, only if she kept her promise to let him back out.
Kurenai rubbed her temples as she processed this new tidbit of info. "He let you eat him?" She asked incredibly. Hinata simply nodded, her attention half on her and half on her stomach as she rubbed it. An obvious attempt to comfort herself if Kurenai ever saw one. "And all because you promised him that you would let him out?" Again Hinata nodded.
Kurenai sighed. She couldn't believe her only male student was that trusting or at least that dense. If it had been any other girl, Kurenai knew that she would be searching for a new member of the team right now. Hell, if it was anyone else in her stomach, Hinata might have just said 'too hell with it' and digested them anyway. Taking a peek Kurenai say Hinata off in her own little world as she rubbed her stomach lovingly. There was no way Hinata would willingly digest Naruto unless as a last resort to keep him safe from others.
Sighing again Kurenai told Hinata to let Naruto out, which she did just as her protection for Naruto collapsed. Kurenai had to admit that it was somewhat amusing to watch Naruto fall flat on his face as Hinata threw him up. She also noticed how the boy tried to hide his reaction to moving through Hinatas body from them, though only Hinata didn't seem to notice the effect she now had on the boy.
Kurenai shook her head has she realized that Naruto starting to experience the effects of puberty. And to make it worse, the boy seems to physically enjoy the sensation of Hinata's body surrounding his whole being. She wondered if Naruto even realized why he was reacting.
It was around this time that Sakura showed up. Kurenai decided it was finally time to start.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
