This choice: Sakura still plans to eat Naruto and Hinata. And maybe Kurenai too. • Go Back... "Alright," began the Jounin quickly catching the attention of her charges. "I would first like to thank Naruto and Hinata for showing up today after what happened before." Kurenai threw a glance at Sakura whose attention seemed to be drifting towards her teammates. Kurenai gave a mental sigh at this. "Also, Hinata. I'd like to know how you seem completely healed after having suffered stomach acid burns only just yesterday." It was more a statement then a question though. The shy girl fidgeted for a moment seemingly working up the courage to speak. "I m-make healing creams in my sp-pare time. I always add some compounds that-t neutralize the acids and accelerate the healing process." The young Hyuga girl glanced up and saw the look of amazement in her sensei's eyes before returning her gaze down towards the ground, blushing the whole time at the sense of accomplishment she now felt for her creams.
When Kurenai finally stopped gaping, a large smile made its home on her face. She was so proud of the girl. It also meant that she had some talent for healing. Kurenai made note to introduce Hinata and maybe even Sakura to the healing arts of medical jutsu. For now however she had a test to give, she just hoped these three would pass and not fall to some of her nastier genjustu traps that had been place about. "Well, team let’s start this test shall we? Now, most teams when made are arranged with a certain goal in mind. For instance, a group with members having tracking related abilities tend to be placed together in order to create a tracking and recon team. Or the famous Ino-Shika-Cho team, which was an interrogation/infiltration/support team, as their abilities made them ideal for supporting others or attacking the enemy through none direct methods." She took a moment make sure everyone was with her.
"Sensei?" Kurenai turned to her pink haired student, slightly surprised that the clearly hungry girl was paying attention to what was being said and not on how to eat her team. Though Kurenai didn't put it past the girl to try later. "Yes, Sakura." "Sensei, if every team is designed with a purpose then what is ours? Hinata is the only one of us from a clan and she would likely lean more towards tracking and recon or ambushing. Naruto and I however don't have any unique abilities."
Kurenai smiled at the fact Sakura had caught on so quick. "Your right! You and Naruto don't really bring anything to a tracking team or even an assault or support team. But there is something you have in common Sakura, or at least something you and Hinata have in common." A grin spread on Kurenai's face as she saw the confused looks she was getting. Hinata seemed less lost then the others yet still didn't seem to grasp what Kurenai was saying. She almost chuckled at how simple the answer was. "The answer is that you are both kunoichi. And what can every kunoichi do that no boy can?" Looks of understanding blossomed on the girls faces. "We are Konoha's first ever, genin level disposal team. It is our job as a team of mostly kunoichi to consume and dispose of our comrades and villages enemies. We will likely be given missions involving the removal of people, such as bandits." Kurenai couldn’t help the hungry grin that soon found its way to her face, she hadn’t been on a good disposal mission for some time and her stomach was just aching for the chance to be filled till she was immobile. There was no surprise in seeing Sakura practically drooling at the thought of being ordered to eat her fill. Hinata on the other hand, though less obvious about it looked just as eager to start gorging herself on some pitiful bandits. Naruto of course looked both out of place and rather unsettled at being on a team composed of hungry females but, the girls were too far in their own little worlds to really care, even Hinata didn’t notice his discomfort.
Snapping from her daydreams of stuffing herself well beyond the limits of what any person should be able to consume, Kurenai clapped her hands to regain her students’ attention. “Now, for this test you will have two ways of success. The first is simple. I will be attacking you with the intention of consuming every one of you. If I succeed in putting all three of you inside my belly,” she pauses a moment to give said stomach a gentle pat drawing her students attention to the bandage-dress covered stomach, “then you will affectively fail this test and be sent back to the academy.” She noticed how all three of them relaxed slightly at hearing what failure would mean, none more so then Naruto. Kurenai smirked as she could already think of what punishment the boy had been so afraid of. “Now knowing this you must have already realized that your objective is to not be caught and eaten for a set period of time. Seeing as how I can keep my stomach from digesting whatever is in it for nearly five hours time, you three will need to remain free of my stomach for that long in order to pass.” Kurenai paused to look up at the suns position. “It is nearly 8am, so you will need to remain outside of my stomach till 1pm. Any questions?”
“What is the second way we can pass?” This was asked by the lone male of the team. “Well Naruto, this second method is something that you won’t be able to do unless you can suddenly change into a girl.” Despite herself Kurenai felt a chill of foreboding run down her spine at that but, brushed it off and continued talking. “The second way of passing is for one of the girls to swallow me. The moment they manage to trap me completely inside one of their stomachs is the moment that every one of you passes.”
The moment Kurenai said that Sakura’s mind went into overdrive. It was obvious that once a person was trapped inside the stomach, they had little to no chance of escaping without being let out by the kunoichi that had swallowed them. This was due to the insides of a kunoichi having some kind of sealing effect on their meals chakra, so once inside the stomach jutsu couldn’t be used. ‘If I play this right then I can swallow down Kurenai-sensei once she swallows the other two. If I do, then I’ll be getting a three course meal for the price of one with no one able to stop me from digesting them.’ Thought the pinket as plans were already being made to insure this happened.
“Before we start a word of warning. If either of you girls eat your teammates and try to digest them then I will fail you! I give you this warning because there are a number of genjustu around the area that if you fall under its sway you will try to eat the first living thing to see. These genjustu also lower your reluctance to digest any living meals, so be careful you don’t fall prey to these genjustu.” Despite what she said there was one person that Kurenai would make an exception for; Hinata. If the girl ate one of her teammates and digested them before the test was over, then Kurenai would have no choice but, to take her under her wing and teach the young Hyuga girl how to avoid this from happening ever again. Then again, with her Byakugan Kurenai doubted that Hinata would fall prey to such a genjustu. After all, just because her family saw her as weak didn’t mean that they wouldn’t even teach the girl how to recognize genjustu and dispel them, right?
