"Well," Mike replied. "I guess I'd better change her back before she gets any madder at me."

He set the small stone on the edge of the table and aimed the device at it.

The stone glowed briefly and vanished, replaced by a restored Debbie.

"Oh my God, that was amazing!" she panted. And then she stopped, having noticed her circumstances.
