After a while, things start to calm down. It was utter chaos for a while but many of the ones causing the chaos have already been victims of the chaos and the few rational people that survived have already begun to rebuild.
It's not safe yet. There are still trigger happy people wandering around but if you keep your wits about you and never expose yourself out in the open, it is possible to survive.
You have found friends and formed a gang. You hang out near an abandoned grocery store where there is still a supply of food, for now. You have to be careful to make sure no one notices your group at the grocery store.
You haven't been transformed but some in your group have been such as Marvin the unicorn. He got transformed by his own daughter who wanted a unicorn.
There is one particular gang that you worry about. Not all the gangs are youth. This gang is made up of prisoners who took advantage of the chaos to escape and grab some transformation guns themselves.
You are still watching the person that just turned that other person into a frog when someone comes around the corner.
